  Vinari Al'Keric (daughter of Alrelt Kr'Keric, granddaughter of Kryluf Se'Keric, of the Keric Tribe) is a youthful and inquisitive tribal elf. From a young age, she was very active and adventurous. Whether it was climbing the nearby cliffs to see the sun rise and set or taking the three-day trek to visit the Shrine of Sfaeri, the journey has always been as important as the destination to Vinari. But as a child, she was not always so close to the other children of the Keric tribe. When they saw Vinari speak to herself, as if talking to an invisible friend, she was taunted. Her parents refused to believe in a magic so long dead and told her to stop such foolishness. And she did... when she was in front of them.
  
  Vinari hid her gift to see the otherworldly, known as eldritch, beings in their world, and she was eventually accepted by the children of the tribe once again. As she grew older, she nurtured her sight in secret and befriended several of the spirits that walked among them. As with all of the Keric youths, Vinari worked the odd jobs and bounced around as an assistant as she waited for her 28th birthday, the day she could both marry and find a more permanent position in the tribe.
  
  Peaceful times soon turned to years of hardship as one of the neighboring elven tribes, the Lronok, led by Seluar Ti'Lronok, began raiding and pillaging the peaceful villages of the tribes around them. As they encroached on the Keric lands, a small band of volunteers agreed to sail along the coast to seek aid from the other tribes, among them Vinari Al'Keric. After only a couple days of sailing, a storm rolled through. They were pushed out to sea in their small rafts, and for days were racked by the storm's winds and waves. When the rafts finally broke, Vinari clung to one of the last pieces of wood she could find and watched helplessly as she was drifted away from her tribemates. When she woke next, she was on a rocky beach with the sun filtering through the trees, alone. Now, in a strange land with even stranger people, Vinari seeks little more than a way back home.
