Initeverden Personality

In the modern, slice of life, kind of setting that Initeverden has, Viola is a college student and is very soft spoken as well as socially timid when dealing with others. This comes from a rather horrid experience when she was younger -- being chastised about her money and wealth and how it would never get her 'real friends'. Since then, Viola has been very independent from her parents, not wanting to really rely on them for money, but instead using resources and materials at hand to both vent her frustration and create fashions of her own.

This independence led Viola to working slightly above minimum wage at a local coffee shop at sixteen, and then getting a second job working at an arts and crafts store when she entered college. At both jobs, she is very helpful to customers, and enjoys working with people on a day-to-day basis more times than not. Service with a smile may seem torturous day after day, though Viola sticks with it and just saves the frustration for home when she can sit down and make more clothes and costumes for herself.

One of the things that Viola does not make abundantly apparent is the fact that she is also very romantic. This is only apparent in some of her writing styles when playing Initeverden with friends or guild members. When role playing with others online, a lot of her writing tends to veer off into things that she desires in a relationship, though she never directly says it. People just assume that what she writes is solely part of the character she is playing at the time if on a role play server.

Since getting into a relationship with Evan, Viola has paused to think about her own personal desires. While Evan is very rough around the edges, Viola still appreciates and admires his character of a person. In a sense, Evan also started to bring out the more... bad in Viola -- which is not as bad as it sounds. Being with Evan and seeing how he deals with certain things has opened up Viola to the idea that maybe being nice a lot of the time is not the way to do things. It certainly has stopped her for working for less in terms of commissions, and has halted cases of people taking advantage of her kindness.

In turn, however, Viola's own actions have been influential to Evan as well, and it makes Viola really happy to see Evan exhibiting such behaviour. Even hearing him say a simple 'thank you', or telling someone 'you're welcome' is something that Viola notices and praises him for.

Pokémon Personality

Rough around the edges is definitely one of the phrases that could be used to describe Pokémon universe Viola. She enjoys big and tough Pokémon, as well as tearing it up at the skate park. While her family still hails from a rich background, Viola had found enjoyment in watching the boys and girls skating and having fun -- it was then that she decided that she wanted to do that as well.

With less wisdom than some of her other iterations, Pokémon Viola is also prone to getting into a lot of arguments as well as start something because of a strong competitive streak in her. She is very foul mouthed, and is definitely not afraid to stick her neck out in doing something considerably unsafe... much of which her friends usually goad her on, or flat out disapprove of.

Around friends, Viola is very chummy and generally likes being surrounded with people that she enjoys time with. She enjoys drinking games with them, and often really enjoys just chilling with them either at home, at clubs, or at local gathering areas in Jubilife city. Unlike one of her childhood friends, Viola does not yearn for travel and adventure in the Pokémon sense, but more in the sense that she is looking for new venues to thrash alongside friends and Pokémon that she has.

Since Viola's demise in the Kalos region and visiting with family, she had been bound to a sword of her own volition, effectively turning her into the Pokémon, Honedge. Realising that she was a Ghost-Type Pokémon now, she took steps to getting herself into the proper care with the childhood friend who had grown up into a fine and seasoned channeller. Since coming into her care, Viola's emotions are very dulled and muted. Only when Viola is in the heat of battle, do some of her emotions break and shine through... and not in the way that is preferred from all persons involved.

Ryne Personality

Viola is damn near ruthless in Ryne, with little care for those other than herself and her friends, and little restraint in her actions. Viola is very selfish in Ryne and makes no real effort to really get to know someone. With her line of work in Ryne as an assassin, she thinks it best not to have too many emotional ties to people when they could be potential enemies of the Black Crowns, and might one day be a target for their personal agenda.

A lot of Viola's casual talk with others is filled with various forms of profanity, and she generally brushes off a lot of what her peers tell her if it is about her normal life in the day-to-day. Out of the people she knows, there are only three or four people that she truly trusts and calls friends, these people she would stick her neck out for when she would not really dare to play the hero in other scenarios.

Having been raised with the Black Crowns and choosing the Crimson path from a young age, Viola had quickly become desensitised after her second mission left her with a useless eye. This left her more willing to attack her targets with prejudice rather than beat around the bush and wait for some indication. Viola really is one of the more ruthless Crimson that the Black Crowns have on their rosters.

Shingeki no Kyojin Personality

Viola is essentially a spoiled rich kid that grew up with the comforts that Wall Sina had to offer – more specifically, the Yalkell District. Thus, Viola is naive about the dangers that the Titans possess over the lands, and her overall attitude towards joining the military is solely for the ‘cool factor’ and the fact that it makes her appearance better than if she were just a regular civilian. Because of this, Viola also does not take her training seriously, unless someone can motivate her, which is not hard. All it takes to motivate her is someone telling her how amazing she will be and how it would look to other people.

Outside of training, and when spending time with people, Viola does not really brag about how her family was well off. She mostly tries to prove herself to others by doing what she can to make them laugh, or offers services to dyeing clothing since that was what her family had distributed from the Yalkell District. If anything, she likes acting light-hearted and goofy around peers to try and make them laugh or amused.

Overall, Viola remains relatively ignorant of what the Titans really are. She knows that they pose a threat, though her overall attitude towards them is, “how bad can they really be?” Of course, this is also because she does not really give too much thought and consideration as to why there would even been a specialised military, or the walls having had to be built to protect those within it.

On the outside of her mind, Viola wears a mask, and she wears it well. While she does honestly believe in her own optimistic thoughts and decisions, she is very lonely on the inside. She appreciates the company that both Barbados and Adelina are willing to offer her, but since they do both work for her family, Viola was still accustomed to staying home alone, doing what she could to garner attention. Her mask of happiness comes from trying to convince everyone that she is okay, that she is capable of holding her own, and that people should not worry about her if she was feeling that way. After all, there was no concern other times, why should it be any different?

This mask quickly cracks under the idea of friendship, and finally having someone to truly confide in. Once realising it, however, Viola will do what she can to revert to her quirky, and goofy personality in attempts to cover it up.

In addition, Viola is not inherently mean. She does not hold the capacity to be malevolent or mean to others -- and if she does, it takes a very, very, very long time for her buttons to get pushed to that point. She was taught that to be treated well, she needs to treat others well. With compassion and kindness -- even if they do not return it, to not become like they are. To not become sour and bitter just because of a few bad happenings. Ergo, Viola is perhaps one of the most tolerant of people that any one person will get to know should they interact with her. This being the case, this does not mean that she does not know when someone is being rude or mean. It simply means that she overlooks their behaviour and continues her kind and caring routine.
