• Description

  Vond is a 30 year old vampire that still appears as he did at 26, when he was turned. He's a tall, thin but imposing figure, believing that deception and intimidation is the best way to get what one wants. He has green piercing eyes that never see the light of day, and typically wears either trench coats or suits depending on the occasion.

• Backstory

  Vond was born in 1985. He was born into a rich family, his father being a wealthy merchant from working the docks and his mother just a woman. He was born in Western Europe, near the coast. Growing up, he strived for power and recognition, and the best way to gain that was through the government- he worked long and hard, and was semi-successful. His younger brother, Tren, was far more successful. Vond hated Tren for this, and barely spoke to him. By the time Tren was 16 he had earned himself a future role in the government. At 17 he had grown himself a name and had many contacts. And at 18, he disappeared. Vond immediately took over all his money and status, more than doubling his current worth and becoming quite the figurehead, until the age of 26 when he was turned.
  The vampire who turned him, Tabaea, was one of the most vain vampires Kain would ever meet, even among politics. She seduced almost endlessly, and used her 'lovers' for all the blood she needed. She took a fancy to Vond and his intelligence and looks though- and she was the one who turned him, after luring him in. At first he was enraged- but she explained about the immortality, the powers, and he became thankful, even entranced when combined with her promise of power and glory. He stayed with her for a full year, but his jealousy at her running around grew until the day he left. His bond with her faded until he realized his jealousy was meaningless and that Tabaea was simply using him the entire time, but he hasn't seen Tabaea since.
  Vond grew close to another vampire of roughly the same age but a higher social status. Vond had become relatively lonely after becoming used to his life with Tabaea, and this new vampire was open to having a friend as power-oriented and intelligent as himself. This vampire's name was Valder. He taught Vond what he could of politics. This friendship, if one is to call it that, ended when Vond moved to America after another year. It has been two years since.
