WoE Bestiary Basics

• Overview

  This is the Everire Bestiary. Here is a listing of all typical monsters discovered so far in the world as well as all the information needed to GM with them. Monsters function exactly the same way as player characters.
  
  LOOT TABLES: All creature have their loot separated into rarity classes. Note that the highest rarity item a creature possessed may not actually be rare. To determine what is dropped by an enemy roll a 1d100 until a roll lands below the threshold on the creature’s loot table. A creature’s threshold will always start at 0 and after each roll increase by 30 if it is a normal creature, or increase by 15 if it is a boss.
  
  The roll dictates what is earned:
  100: A
  97-99: B
  94-96: C
  88-93: D
  80-87: E
  Threshold - 79: F
  
  
  This is in addition to a creature’s equipped weapon(s) and armor. To determine whether a creature’s gear is salvageable after being defeated, roll 1d20-[Overkill Damage] that was done to the creature for each item; as long as the result is one or higher then the item is intact and can be obtained.
  If the creature in question is a Boss type, then roll 1d40-[Overkill Damage] instead.
  For instance, if a creature has 3 HP remaining and the killing blow deals 8 damage, the DM would roll 1d20-5 for each item as 5 would be the Overkill Damage.
  
  A creature may have Nothing as its item in a certain rarity class. This means that rolling it results in no loot, but you should continue to roll. The only time you stop rolling is when you roll below the creature’s loot threshold. The final loot is divided up as the party sees fit. The DM/GM plays no role in dividing up loot, only in informing the group as to what loot was found.
  
  XP is awarded to characters involved in combat against the creatures based on each character’s own CL. Easy creatures award 10CL XP each, Moderate creatures award 15CL XP each, Hard creatures award 20CL XP each, and Nightmare creatures award 30CL XP each. Easy creatures have HP and Mana equal to their END and MAG. Moderate creatures have HP and Mana equal to their END*2 and their MAG*2. Hard creatures have HP and Mana equal to their END*3 and MAG*3. Nightmare creatures have HP and Mana equal to their END*5 and MAG*5.
