  APPEARANCE:
  
  Bodily Distinguishments:
  Much of his form would appear human, and his skin would look human if not for the very noticeable traits of being hardened and creased in many places where the skin would normally bend (such as for a smile or changes in brow position), leaving a noticeable aged appearance, and the fact that the demonic blood within makes his skin a very cloudy crimson shade. His hair, as black as a raven's feather, would be well-kept, flowing freely down his back as far as his elbows, the sides of his hair that flow to the front decorated with a clip representing a dragon of shadow at the top, with a symbol for Yin on the bottom of his left length of hair and one for Yang on the base of his right. It does hide the two horns rather well, which encircle from the front of his forehead and circle around to the back, where they tend to stick out a bit once they slightly overreach at the end, poking out his hair for about four inches, looking as if cut and trimmed to keep short.
  
  Another thing to stand out for him is his eyes. When settled and calm they are stoically brown, but any form of alertness or shifting in his adrenaline causes the colour to shift to a blood red, mixing with the brown for what would appear to be a case of segmented heterochromia. His ears are also pointed upward at the upper edges, though would otherwise appear humanoid. There is also a black strip of hair coming down from below his mouth as a thin goatee and a mustache above his upper lip. While it is near-impossible to tell what is a scar on his body, there is one that is obvious to anyone who looks at it: A scar that would look like a black carving across his stomach, looking as if cut apart by a potent anti-demon weapon.
  
  Clothing:
  While the saying goes "Once you go black, you never go back", Zackar probably had nothing to go back to in the first place. His feet would house solid black leather boots with a thick sole and presumably steel-capped, with an interweaving of black lacing across the front keeping it in place, brass-edged holes ensuring no tears to the leather. While he wore simple leather leggings that flared out on the bottom and only just covered the knot at the top of the boots, he wore a scale mail tunic that reached as far down as the top of his knees and over his shoulders, being just shy of his elbow, the scales themselves of an ebony coloured material with crimson rings on the outer edges, each piece of the material about 2" in length and appearing bone-like in many ways. Locked to his shoulders are what appears to be half each of a curved ebony horn about a foot in length, attached to his tunic by a steel plate and leather straps, which also would be where the clasp for his raven feather cloak, with each feather sewn into place with a fine silken thread upon a black cotton base. Sometimes he would also have the hood of the cloak over his head, covering his head in a similar fashion. Underneath all of this is a long-sleeved shirt, of which only the foremost of the arm would be visible due to the tunic and the leather fingerless gloves, studded on the knuckles with brass. Across the long tunic would be a few leather belts, two clasped over the shoulders (presumably how the shoulder guards are held in place) and one around the bottom of the waist, wrapping around him.
  
  PERSONALITY:
  Grim and serious, Zackar tells it like it is when he chooses to speak, choosing to only speak when it's beneficial or useful in some way. He often comes off as unfeeling, uncaring and unsympathetic to the plights of others, and while he often does not consider other people's feelings, it is more often due to having seen and lived through worse himself, and does not assume others have had it worse than he. Not that he is cold-hearted, having a few choice friends, nor is he selfish, indeed considering the needs of others in most situations where the greater good has to be considered. He also chooses not to be confrontational, preferring to avoid conflict where possible, likely a belief he has inherited from others, but does not shy from it if no other alternatives become known.
  
  WEAPONS:
  Dadao (Visible, sheathed)
  A weapon with no sheath, it hooks on the belt to his left side using the brass ring on the hilt's edge, giving easy reach and access from the right hand. It has a basic leather grip and has a brass-plated hand guard, with the sword itself giving an elegant eastern design, decorative but functional, with the blade of steel as sharp as the day it was made. Other than the design, however, it has nothing special in regards to properties.
  
  Butterfly Swords (Concealed in boots)
  Often hidden under the leggings, the hilt and hand guard is of a similar brass design to other parts of his weaponry, the grip a polished ebony hue. Unsheathed, the two foot-long blades are of a refined and polished steel, possessing no other special attributes to them and are lacking the decoration of the other weapons available to him.
  
  Twin Kamas (Hidden on back under cloak)
  In a socket along his back rests two wooden rods, about two feet each in length of a cylindrical oval shape with an indent through it's center. While they can be used as wooden rods that have no lethal function, the user can unlock the blade from inside the wooden sheath at any point with a spring-loaded mechanism, revealing the bladed scythe in it's full form. The blade itself is stainless steel, with the silver undergoing special treatment to have an effect on otherworldly entities.
  
  Shadowbane (Special Hidden)
  Kept in a sealed voidspace only he can tap into, Shadowbane is a weapon of guandao design, the metal length a multi-layered entwining of brass and black steel, the counterweight and joint a solid steel casing, layered with an ornate brass design of various creatures of the shadow, the blade itself a twin-tailed curved blade of stainless steel, with the silver treated to give it special properties against the supernatural. The longest of the two tails is 1'6" of treated stainless steel, curved to eventually point at a 45 degree angle at it's tip, the second peeling away about 6" from the base, eventually curling to a 60 degree angle after extending a further 6", with both edges having been sharpened, likely for further cutting strength to an impaled foe as opposed to blocking blades.
  
  POWERS:
  Regeneration: Being a demon, his body can repair itself naturally when sustaining damage, though he can still fall unconscious and/or die from blood loss if inflicted with too many injuries in a short amount of time, and can still suffer a loss of limbs that would take considerably more time to replace. Typically his healing factor can fully recover from minor cuts and tears within an hour with no visible scarring whatsoever, but more severe injuries will take significantly longer.
  
  Shadowform: Connecting his body with his armour, he can shift into a black mist and make himself difficult to accurately target in spaces with a lot of light, or even merging with the darkness around him in places with little to no light. While this is far from a complete envelopment of his entirety (anything that stands out, such as weapon blades, will not be concealed), it can result in near-invisibility in the right circumstances.
  
  Shadow Magic: The range of uses for this power vary greatly: Dousing lights in a thick cloud, using another person's shadow to attack, banishing or restoring spirits to and from a body, absorbing or redirecting magical and/or life-bound material, communicating with the deceased, teleporting oneself through shadows cast in the area. This list is more representative of the kinds of abilities this power can grant and should never be considered as a definitive list.
  
  Enhanced Form: By channeling energy to his armour, he can allow himself to expand into his greater demon form, which increases his physical strength enough to wield his dadao and Shadowbane one-handed, as well as shrug off typical weapons and attacks with his hardened skin, and increases his size to approximately ten feet by compensating some of his magical power, limiting himself to basic attack strategies magically and rendering him unable to shift into Shadowform. The primary use for this form is to overwhelm a physical opponent that would otherwise be difficult to match or best in a normal scenario.
