• Description

  Alecto is part cat. Literally. Her father is a shapeshifter with a cat affinity and her mother, as far as she knows, is a regular human, and with those genes combined, she came out a little peculiar. She does not have the full shapeshifting abilities of her father, but she can sprout cat ears and a tail of her own will. While the tail hold no particular purpose that she have noticed, the ears strengthen her hearing significantly, allowing her to hear things clearly even if they are quite far away.
  Unfortunately, the ears (not the tail, which she is very grateful for) have a tendency to pop up if she get surprised or scared. Her genes also make her able to communicate with cats like she would a normal human, she speaks and they understand, and she hear them like she would anyone else.
  
  She is part of a small street gang called the White Crows since 6 years and is spending most of her nights with them. Although it is called a gang, most of the time they simply stay at their headquarters and talk or play cards, with the occasional fight with other gangs. They are the only ones in whose presence she will freely show her cat ears and tail, and they are the ones that call her Kitten.
  
  She is currently living with her father, but is beginning to feel the need for a place of her own. Mainly for the sake of not causing him any more trouble than she already have.
  
  Alecto is usually seen in a pair of worn jeans with the symbol of the White Crows sewed on the left back pocket and a hooded shirt, with the hood up just in case her ears should decide to pop up. If she can, she avoids wearing socks and shoes, but when she is forced to, due to weather, she usually wears a pair of black sneakers.
  She also have a small tattoo of a crescent moon on her right wrist.
  
  Her reddish hair is worn short and barely reach her shoulders, with slightly longer bangs that fall sideways, covering her left eye almost completely. When visible, her cat ears and tail is the same reddish color as her hair.
  
  Alecto would never be caught saying her full first name, and the surest way to get on her bad side is to address her with it. She absolutely despises it ("You try being named after a Fury!") and always refer to herself as Alec.

• Biography

  Alecto is half American and half Japanese. Before she was born, her father travelled a lot due to his work and that's how he ended up meeting her mother in Japan. He says that she was his mistress, Alecto says she was a tramp. And she is not completely wrong. Her mother was indeed a high class prostitute, and she met Alecto's father in the brothel that she worked. Her father was also right however, as the two fell in love during his time in Japan, resulting in the birth of their daughter.
  
  She lived with her mother until she was about five years old. At that time her father, at the request of her mother, came back to Japan and took her with him to America. Alecto have had no contact with her mother since, nor does she wish to, but she do know a little Japanese.
  
  She was quite a little troublemaker growing up and joined the small street gang the White Crows at the age of 12. During her 6 years with the gang she have seen her fair share of fights, including the one that gave her the scar above her collarbone. She is quite well-known among their "enemies" due to her long time in the gang and is one of the members with the most authority for the same reason. She have her closest friends in the gang and they are for all purposes her family.
  
  About a year ago, Alecto was approached by a small grey cat named Kay, and he have since taken a liking to her. Because of this he keeps following her around. Usually Alecto don't have a problem with this, and it is true that he have been useful as a spy for the Crows from time to time, but the cat is always talking, to the point where she just want to scream at him to shut up.
