Sometimes that loyalty can blind her to the faults of others, and she tends to assume the best out of anyone. She's reserved about her past.

• Description

  She's thin due to growing up on a harsh Rim planet, but has fairly well developed muscles due to working in mines and doing labor on a prison planet. She looks a little bit gangly, as she didn't get a lot of food growing up, leading to a face on the thinner side, with thick dark eyebrows and a medium nose and mouth. Mei's eyes take after her mother's, curved and slightly tilted downwards. Her features are narrow, and sloped, leading to an almost fox like face. Her face is framed with wavey and sometimes curly hair, which cascades down her back to the top of her hips. Usually she'll wear it in a braid, ready to be bound up under a bandanna if she's working around machinery.
  
  Mei is constantly moving, shifting on her feet if she has to stand still, moving about if she can. Being locked in a small cell made her value being able to move freely, and she hates being confined. Her long fingers will tap constantly on a surface (her thighs, the chair, the table) if she has to sit, if she's not speaking. Mei is an animated speaker, often gesturing to drive home points or rubbing her mouth if she's stressed.
