• Appearance

  Standing at an 'average' height of 5'8", Daniel is a well-built soldier with dark, well-trimmed hair and a slight scruff on his chin. He has many scars from a lifetime of battle, a few such covering his face and visible flesh on his arms and legs when wearing short clothing. Typically, he is seen in his black Brotherhood uniform, with a brown leather coat. He firmly holds loyalty despite the new world, though is more accepting of tech and non-humans than most in the old Brotherhood- most notably, his father, Arthur Maxson.

• Brief History

  His mother, Emily, had once been known to the Commonwealth as the Sole Survivor of Vault 111. When she died, he was only four. Not knowing how to cope with the loss, or fully raise his son to where he'd be safe, Arthur Maxson sent Daniel to a boot camp almost immediately after his wife departed from the world. For years, Daniel grew up inside the Brotherhood without everyone knowing he was a Maxson. He was afforded a short childhood that his father never really had, and so became more open minded.
  
  When Daniel was seven, Arthur had him transferred to an encampment under the name Daniel Arthur. He'd told the leaders to go hard on the boy. That he expected the best. Daniel was expected to not carry the name of Maxson until he had earned it. And so, he spent the rest of his days following every order unquestioningly from his father.
  
  He learned battle from several Paladins and Sentinels, tactics and science from Captains and Scribes alike, and amassed knowledge that rivaled Proctor Quinlan. All in the name of an aging Elder Maxson. Never once did his loyalty falter. Even when his father ordered him to take out a pack of Deathclaws with only a small squad.
  
  None of this would matter, however, as Daniel Arthur Maxson would eventually find himself stumbling onto an entirely new world, and tossed back in time to the year 2225. No war had happened. Technology had thrived on this new world, creating cyborgs, flying car-like craft, and personal robots far more advanced than any Mr. Handy.
  
  Now, he is lost in a world that believes his to have been no more than a video game. All he knew is gone. Everything he believed no longer applies. Now.. he must forge a new path, while trying to hold onto his identity in a world that will never know the harshness of the wasteland that he has known. At least now, he has his fledgling Brotherhood of Steel, forged in this new world by his hand. Now, he has the Prydwen's Return, a sister to the Prydwen he once knew. Now, he finally has hope.
