  Laurel grew up in a single-parent household, her father was never in the picture and it was something her mother never discussed. Laurel did have an older brother, however when they were both very young he died in an accident. She grew up in a small town living in a house next to the store that her mother and aunt ran. Her childhood was fairly standard on most accounts other than specific training her mother and aunt had to provide early on so she could be safe and protect herself and.
