  A leather hat more akin to something you would see in the outback of Australia sits atop curling brown tresses that extend just below the armpits. Blue eyes study the world with a stark intensity. A leather cord hanging gently from her neck holds a silver necklace in the shape of a feather. She is most commonly seen in a dark leather duster and holding a Winchester lever action rifle. With the duster open one immediately sees a brown vest and below that, the holster for a Colt SAA. Underneath the vest is a typically white blouse. Its primary purpose is to hide the branching pattern of a scar on her left arm, style is merely an added benefit. Completing her look are dark slacks and well used cowboy boots.

• Background

  Her family arrived in America the same way most families did. Immigrated to try and find a better life.
  
  They lived in a small, cramped shack out in Texas. They worked as ranch-hands or whatever was needed of them. It was a hard and rewarding life.
  
  When she was 17, she met the man she'd eventually marry. He was a ranch-hand by the name of Casey Wolcott. He was only a handful of years older than her and their romance was sweet and a slow burn. It wasn't until she was 19 that he proposed to her and whisked her away from her family, having made himself enough money to buy a plot of land somewhere and attempt to start his own family.
  
  It was a good go of it, in truth. About a year after they had married, they had their first and only child, Percy. They both were hard working and doing the best that they possibly could. It went to shit when she turned 22, however.
  
  Earlier in the year Percy passed away from complications of some sort. Delphine never understood how her innocent child could be taken from her. It was hard to wrap her head around it. Then on a summer night their ranch had been set upon by brigands of some sort. Common bandits or cattle rustlers, she didn't know.
  
  Despite their best efforts the couple had fallen. They'd been beat to near death, toyed with. She was numb to everything that happened in that time, until Casey was drug inside their home and it set on fire.
  
  She has never forgotten the sound of his screams, nor the smell of charred flesh. Delphine died that night, in some way. The broken woman that survived the ordeal became a creature of habit and vengeance, hunting down those who took everything from her.
