• Vault 76

  Flanne was born in Vault 76. Her brother gave her a Mothman plushie shortly after she was born. He had obtained it a couple of years before moving into the vault, when his parents took him to the Point Pleasant Mothman museum and bought it for him as a souvenir. Flanne is rarely seen without it.
  
  Flanne was a very hyperactive child, often getting into mischief around the vault. Her brother tried his best to keep her out of trouble, but she had her equally troublesome friends who encouraged her.
  
  Growing up, she took an interest in various mechanics, such as robot repair. Coming from a Jewish family, she was taught and followed several traditions. Amit, a friend of the family who was also Jewish, helped her learn quite a bit about various mythology and history.
  
  One of Flanne's favorite stories was of the mythical West Virginia cryptid, the Mothman. The fact her favorite toy was a stuffed version of the creature fueled her fascination. While Amit told her it was merely a story and that the legendary beast was 'most likely just a misidentified crane', deep down Flanne believed the story was true and dreamt about someday meeting the creature face to face.
  
  When Flanne was 19, the vault was opened for the first time. Never having seen the outside before, everything was exciting and new for her.
  
  Currently she is traveling with her family to set up a new life outside of the vault. She can't, however, shake the feeling she's being watched. Occasionally she swears she sees two red eyes staring at her from the forest, out of the corner of her eye...
