  Laergulwen ( Lay-ar-gul-en ) Is The High Priestess to the remnants of the Elvish people. Long ago The Elves were creatures of power, a race that none could ignore and all wished to ally with. They were as brutal and efficient as they were beautiful and enchanting. They brought civilization to the known world, but their reign was not to last, of course though, everyone knows this.
  
  A horrible illness was spread among the elvish people, ravaging their reproductive systems and rendering 97% of the entire Elvish population sterile. Seeing weakness, enemies from across the seas attacked, endless swarms of barbarians slaughtering all in their path, confident in their victory. The allies to the Elves, the Humans, Naga and Nymphs, arrived much too late. The combination of the dark illness and the slaughter by their attackers meant only 1% of the population was still able to reproduce, all but forcing them to seek outside scources for reproduction, Nymphs being favored for their high fertility and attunement to natural magic, and humans for their natural hardiness and strong wills.
  
  100 years pass and a Pureblood Elf baby was found in the wreckage of a merchant's caravan. At this point in history, the only other living Pureblood Elf was a villainous traitor whose name was stricken from any and all records. This baby was brought into the church, revered as a child of the Goddess-Queen Gilrin. Hope spread among the ravaged remains of the Elvish people, the gods had not abandoned them just yet, and through this child hope was born.

  Voice of the Godess- From birth, her very presence has been calming, those who she speaks to tend to listen, her voice laced with deep magic even the elves of old could not hope to compare to. With her voice she can diffuse violent situations, compel others for information, and many other things, one simply needs to use their imagination. The effect of her voice can be avoided though, with obscure wards, or willpower alone. Suffice to say, if she were to be gagged and unable to speak, she would lose the usefulness of her voice.
  
  Gift of the Lifebringer- Those in her presence seem to forget their injuries, the agony from a blade in the chest dulling to a painful numbness, birthing pains becoming easier to manage, and even augmenting the capabilities of any natural healing magic, be it potions or a spell. This aura also allows her to easily befriend animals and other such creatures.
  
  Rejuvenating Touch- Empowered by the spirit of the Goddess, her very touch heals wounds and restores energy, both magical and physical. She cures wounds and poisons, curses and illnesses with her embrace. The only thing beyond her grasp is death itself, when their time comes, even the goddess cannot help. Unfortunately, it seems she is incapable of curing the one illness plaguing her people for so long.
