• Backstory

  Born to a middle-class family, grown up with two siblings, Kasu was always impressed by the skill and repute of her home's airforce pilots, and joined the army when she came of age. That was three years before the civil war broke out - doubtful of it from the start, the final push for her was when she was ordered to attack civilians. She deserted the army, stealing her craft, and, after a determined but failed attempt to drown her sorrows, joined a rag-tag space pirate crew, and continued to fight, now with the law against her.

• Personality

  Tough and mean on the outside, broken-hearted, homesick and idealistic on the inside. Everything she believed in as a kid has fallen apart, and aside from that, she misses her family, and laments what has become of her home. While she has turned to a criminal life, she still has a clear moral compass, and will avoid physically hurting the innocent. Deep down she still wants to make the world a better place. In an emotional way, her breaking the law is a way of fighting back against those in power who brought the war about.
