  History
  Juno Augustine was born two years after his sister, Hera Augustine, in the magic city of Gaia. Juno's father, Chronus Augustine, was the most powerful of the five founding archmages of Gaia city. Juno's mother Celeste Augustine, was killed during childbirth. Juno survived the tragedy by use of magic. Because of this, along with having been born to such a powerful practitioner of the arcane arts, Juno learned early how to properly use and respect magic, as well as to use it to help others and not for personal gain. Juno's childhood was spent amongst the tomes and scrolls of sorcery, owned by his father, practicing the basics of magic and elemental manipulation, with minimal interaction with anyone save for his father and sister. When Juno was only twelve years of age, his father died to a vile curse placed upon him from an unknown source. His death left Juno to finish his studies on his own, in addition to having to struggle to survive along with his sister. Harsh times fell as work for two young children was scarce at best, and Juno was forced to sell many of his father's belongings. By the time Juno was fifteen, only a handful of his father's scrolls, tomes, and magical artifacts remained unsold, and when he was sixteen, he passed his entry exam to the Academy for Apprentice Magician's, two years earlier than normally allowed. To say that Juno took to his studies like a fish does water would be an understatement, mastering high-level techniques months ahead of others older than him, but also not making many friends along the way. On Juno's eighteenth birthday, four other students, along with one professor, attempted to bind Juno with magic in order to control his power. Juno, of course, had foreseen this, and with the help of his only 3 friends, was able to counter all of their attempts at binding him. Unlike his assailants, Juno showed great restraint with his magic, and harmed nothing more than a single spider who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. A month after the event, after his assailants were tried and convicted of their crimes, Juno was graduated from the academy as there was nothing more for him to learn by staying. Juno immediately came before the council of mages, the ruling mages of Gaia city, to request his father's title as archmage, but was ultimately turned down due to his youth and still general newness in the practical use of magic. Juno then set out as a now fully licensed mage to practice the use of magic and follow in his father's footsteps. Now, at age 21 Juno works along side his sister, now head of police forces in Gaia city, to apprehend those who would use magic as a means of controlling others.
