• What You Need to Know

  People won't notice when Rev enters a room. Mostly because, if she's doing her job right, they're not even there. Rev is a professional thief and corporate saboteur, and with her hacker partner Nick backing her up, there's very few places she can't get into. While they're both on the payroll of Marcus Reiner, CEO of the prominent IntelliWorks corporation, to keep an eye on rival companies (and occasionally keep them in check), he's willing to clear them for a few independent jobs, so long as it doesn't conflict with company plans.
  
  Rev's a thrill-seeker and a bit of a prankster, but she's not stupid and won't get carried away. One of her biggest advantages is her bio-implant, a device set in her brain that allows her to override her body's natural inhibitors and increases her speed. The effects of using it for too long or too often, however, can easily burn her out, as an amplified adrenal output prevents her from feeling her body break down under the stress. This also affects her metabolism, which has to be regulated with a series of medications. On the plus side, it also means she heals faster than normal (though not instantaneously by any means), and that quick renewal has made her look several years younger than she actually is.
  
  At the end of a long day, Rev is perfectly happy to order Chinese and curl up on her couch with her cat and an old movie.
