• Description

  Shin stands slightly shorter than average. His complexion is light as compared to others of his kind with long white hair tied into a pony tail. His eyes where a piercing emerald green. He wore a dingy grey cloak with the hood up the hood covered his head and shaded his face. The cloak was clasped with his family insignia. The cloak draped down his body to nearly touch the ground. It hid him well. Under the cloak he wore a very simple dingy dark green tunic with a brown leather belt holding up his hunter green pants. The belt had on it three pouches and two daggers one at either side. He wore beaten up leather boots with a throwing dagger hidden in each boot. He wore almost no jewelry but for a small necklace with his clan's insignia.

• Biography

  Shin was born in the Underdark like most other Drow. The Underdark is a horrible place full of death destruction and all around hate. Filled to the brim with all sorts of horrible monsters that would rather kill you than look at you, and that is if you’re lucky. Not to mention the fact that most of the Underdark is pitch black with almost no light but the few torches along common trade paths. His camp had none as Drows have excellent night vision. They can easily see one hundred and twenty plus feet in pitch black dark. Not to mention there sense of hearing and smell are equal to if not better than that of there Elven cousins.
  
  As for Shin’s up bringing it was the same as any other male Drow. Very violent and full of near death competition. For in Drow society they only way you get something is by taking it and having the power to hold it. This rings true for everything even as toddlers you learn this lesson early or you are dead. Drow won’t tolerate someone who isn’t willing to do anything for there survival. Yet as a male he knew he could never fully rise to power even if he was the strongest. Since drow culture is a matriarchal and the best he could be is a warrior for the goddess Lloth. Since even the highest ranked male is directly below the lowest ranked priestess or female of the clan or village.
  
  So Shin starts out life learning how to be the quickest, smartest, and craftiest Drow of his family. Yet due to him being born the runt of the family, he was treated very poorly even by his own mother. Knowing full well that he could never win a fight by strength alone, he became a mage. He learned all that he could about dark arts. He quickly ascended the ranks of his school, thus giving him an edge over his siblings. With his skill as a mage he was also allowed to learn art of the assassin. With these two skills combined with his own natural wit it would be enough to take down even the biggest of foes. It was with this lethal combination that he did but kill his two older siblings to gain the respect of his family and become the eldest male.
  
  Now being the eldest male he was equipped with the finest his family could afford. This gave him an edge over many in his clan that did not come from such wealthy family who could afford to give them such an edge. He quickly ascended the ranks of his clan to a point in which he had enough influence to leave the village and the Underdark behind. He was now ordered to go forth and spread the clan’s influence among the rest of the land.
