  Personality: Bright, playful, a little sarcastic, enjoys joking around and teasing but dislikes hurting other's feelings, occasionally overbearing, very energetic and excitable, can be very annoying at times. Has the tendency to lash out when she’s angry.

• Personality

  Gemma is super playful, teasing, and energetic, although she gets pouty and childish when upset. She’s not very bright, but she’s incredibly curious and inquisitive. Gemma enjoys learning new things, even if she oftentimes won’t remember them. She doesn't cry often, but her feelings are hurt easily. She likes to appear tough, despite her small stature. Gemma can have a big temper, and can be unnecessarily mean or violent to the object of her anger. She oftentimes crosses the line and ends up seriously hurting others, be it emotionally or physically. Due to an unfortunate combination of genetics she is unusually short for her age. While she may seem like a great person, she tends to stray from the path of good, being currently occupied as a petty thief and occasionally stealing from children and the elderly.

• Background

  Gemma grew up on a farm in Wisconsin. Her family was loving and kind, and she grew up happily. She was best friends with her brother, despite an age gap of around seven years, and for a while their childhood was perfect. She was expected to work hard but she didn't mind, she'd always assumed she'd end up a farmer like her parents anyway. Gemma didn't seem to be very intellectually gifted anyway.
  
  A few days after her twelfth birthday a terrible accident killed her brother. Unable to cope with her grief Gemma ran away a few weeks later, determined to never set foot in her house again. Years later, she refuses to return home, instead living on the streets and surviving off whatever she can steal. If she can manage to secure a temporary job she tries to send as much money as she can back to her parents, but other than that they never speak.

• Looks

  Gemma has a very carefree personality, and that translates well to her style. She generally keeps her hair down in two long braids, which she often won't take out and rebraid for weeks at a time. This leads to almost constantly knotted and messy hair, but she doesn't seem to mind much. Her clothes are very simple, usually just a t-shirt or shorts, or occasionally overalls. She hates fancy clothes, jewelry, and dresses. Her looks are rather plain. She's got wide red eyes, a round face, and a heavy amount of freckles around her cheeks. She never wears makeup.
