• Name: Orabela

  Physical appearance: Short to medium statured, around 5’4”-5'6". Slightly thin, pinched look from scarce resources on her colony. Passing through the rift significantly altered her appearance. Though she still has golden, tan (comparable to mulatto skin tones) pigment to her skin, she has now lost all discernible pigment to her hair and eyes, and has white Lichtenburg figures running over all of her major limbs and torso.

  Outfits: At the time of the rifts, she was wearing a simple white long sleeve shirt, overalls, and boot while she was at work. Though very tattered and dingy from water damage, blood, and dirt stains, she still currently wears them.
  
  Abilities: Over years of evolution and purposeful adaptations, Atlanteans have expanded their potential to live several hundred years, given that they do not succumb to illness, extremely traumatic injury, or another person kills them. They also seemed to have integrated some of the magic they have studied into their body, mainly manifesting in extra-sensory perception; they're very empathic, and usually have some ability in predicting something (other people's thoughts, other people's emotions, or future events). Ora has an uncanny knack for predicting future events.
  
  She doesn't have any remarkable physical prowess, though she has physical abilities honed from years of use and practice. She is quick and light on her feet because of her size. She's agile from years of squeezing into spaces that the other engineers couldn't reach. She has good balance from walking on small platforms with steep falls. She's strong from climbing tall pipes and towers to fix them, and from hanging and supporting her weight when she's fallen off said edges. She can also lift up to 100 pounds more than her body weight for short periods of time, though the heavy causes her extreme duress, as she'd had to lift and carry heavy metal parts around her father's shop and her village.
  
  
  Defenses: Her intelligence, her extra-sensory abilities (including the new ones that attach her to the new dimensions), her ability to quickly improvise, her speed, moderate strength, a small bit more resilient when inflicted with injury and death than normal humans (though her healing ability is nothing remarkable when compared to many supernaturals).
  
  Weaknesses: She's got relatively little strength when compared to supernaturals, or even people who purposefully physically train to be strong. Emotional naivety leads her to being, at times, gullible. Can get sick, injured; doesn't heal as fast as supernaturals. Can die. Passing through the rift has left her with physical symptoms similar to a lightning strike victim: she occasionally suffers from temporary amnesia, and crippling joint pain. Her extra-sensory abilities can leave her with migraines.
  
  Personality: Kindhearted, though socially awkward, Orabela bears the burden that intelligence can bring. Her extensive self-education gave her provocative opinions about traditions observed in her community, often refuting their usefulness, which earned her scorn. As a result, Ora quickly learned to avoid social interaction unless in dire need, or approached. She's still highly observant, though most of the time she feels like she's a spectator of interpersonal interactions, always watching, but never able to join in. She's learned to grow comfortable in solitude.
  
  Still, if a person makes an honest effort in befriending her, she has a remarkably easy trust. Though she can usually get a good sense of other people's demeanor and motivations from a short conversation, her social naivety can make her vulnerable and easily-deceived, especially if the person befriending her is good at concealing their emotions.
