  • Appearance

    Raven is of average height and build at first glance. She tends to wear loose-fitting clothes of darker colors when not working. She prefers to keep her long, black hair down, where it falls at about her rear, and what was once bangs are now almost the same length, save for a few pieces that like to take up residence in front of her face. Her eyes are blue, with the left a brilliant icey shade, while the right appears a darker blue/grey. To cover this, sunglasses or colored contacts are generally in use.

    Her eyes aren't the only thing she tries to hide. Raven is a shifter, or changeling, if you will. In her various forms, she will generally be a darker shade of whatever animal she is trying to imitate. The one thing she can't seem to change when doing so is her eye color, so you may see a doe or dog with a startling stare.

  • Abilities

    As an animal shifter, Raven tries to hide the fact that she can moonlight with feathers or fur. While there is no elemental triggers that set off her change and leave her howling at the moon, high stress situations can trigger the flight or fight response and begin a transformation. Usually she recognizes and stops it before being noticed, but wearing hoodies or long sleeves are handy when scales or rabbit fur start forming on your limbs.

    She practices when she can on both new and already known forms, as they don't actually come naturally to her. Due to this ability being suppressed for so long in her youth, it can still be a struggle to maintain some forms for long. A little bird in flight who is startled by much bigger predators shouldn't be falling put of the sky as a person, so extra care is taken to keep her focus on her form.
