• What does he look like?

  He's about the length of two tall humans strung together with the girth of fattened anaconda. White, glossy scales match the barely aged hatchling. He floats on the air as a wingless dragon, drifting on unseen magic. The tufts of pale mane lining his spine make him seen well suited to braving cold tundra, or the high winds above even the clouds. His horns are jagged from a lack of any maintenance. Those magically inclined may notice an array of arcane glyphs lining his underbelly.
  
  With their stark physical differences, Vulnyr seems completely unrelated by blood to Vulekta. It wouldn't seem that way hearing them speak to each other.

• How he'd come to be.

  Vulnyr was victim to a raid on his clutch while still unborn. This being well before the great war broke out, the collection of eggs were auctioned off far and wide instead of destroyed. From there, he happened to hatch into the life of a sorcerer's lab rat. His scales were used to craft potions and poultices, tested against acidic formulas, and crafted into magical jewelry. All in all, it was pretty comfortable save for being held in a cramped tower with a strict master. Vulnyr passed the time stealing tomes to read from the tower's library. He was always punished for doing so, but still did it anyways time and again. He learned a great many useless things this way along with the sorcerer's expertise; Sealing Magic, which no doubt was what kept Vulnyr bound to the tower even without worldly shackles. A few attempts to break this seal led to greater punishments. With his growing size and number of tomes he'd steal, the sorcerer had had about enough of his lab rat, when a half-breed freed Vulnyr from his captor. It was a mess considering the sorcerer was his only real contact in the world, but being shown the outside along with a hideout to live in reformed the reclusive young hatchling into one madly curious of everything he's missed out on. He's lived with his slightly more tolerable new master Vulekta ever since.
