  Valerias first name means "To be strong". Her name also means to be valiant, showing courage and determination. Valeria was born about eight minutes after her twin brother Valerius. Valeria had a complicated time during her mother giving birth to her and she almost died. The doctors were astonished by her survival. Most would have died with the complications that Valeria was having, but Valeria never gave up and kept fighting. Valerias mother was relieved that she kept fighting and that she lived. Her mother decided to name her Valeria because she was strong and fought death, refusing to give up.

  Valerias brothers, Valerius and Oliver, call her Nesa. Nesa is the Elvish term for sister in her language. The name Val is just an abbreviation of her name. Her mentor, Thomas, gave her the nickname Val and a few of her friends started calling her Val because of this. Valeria never bothered to ask Thomas about why he called her Val and it doesn't bother her that he does call her Val. It also doesn't bother her when her brothers call her Nesa. Valeria has had these nicknames for years, so it's normal for her and far from new.

Valeria never really liked celebrating her birthday, but she loved celebrating other peoples birthday. Valeria never liked the attention that came with celebrating her birthday. She always tried to think of her birthday as just another day.

  Valeris is of the Elven race. She is considered to be a wood elf. Elves have a timeless perspective and some have been known to live beyond 700 years old. Most elves dwell in small forest villages hidden among the trees. Elves take up adventuring out of wanderlust. Since they are so long-lived, they can enjoy centuries of exploration and discovery.They are more often amused than excited, and more likely to be curious than greedy. They tend to remain aloof and unfazed by petty happenstance. When pursuing a goal, however, whether adventuring on a mission or learning a new skill or art, elves can be focused and relentless. They are slow to make friends and enemies, and even slower to forget them.

  Valeria is pretty short compared to most, but her race is known for being smaller and shorter than most, especially the females. She does sometimes wishes she was a bit taller, but Valeria is generally comfortable with it. Her adopted brother Oliver and her Mentor Thomas would occasionally tease her and make jokes about her being so short and small. It sometimes annoyed her, but she overall knew that they were just kidding and trying to have fun.

  Valeria is a very healthy weight for her height. She's not self conscious about her weight at all. She is also very thankful for her fast metabolism and ability to burn off food pretty quickly.

  Wood Elves are know for being from wooded areas, such as forests, and are also known for being masters of said forests. They normally live in wooded areas and keep to themselves.   Valeria normally comes off as quiet and occasionally shy. Some would even say that she seems to be very guarded. Valeria doesn't scream royalty, but you can also tell that she isn't a commoner. Her not screaming royalty also makes is a bit easier for her to blend in when needed. Valeria often throws herself into her work or studies to avoid over thinking or worrying about certain problems or relationships, causing her to sometimes come off as a workaholic. Valeria also tends to have the problem of trying to take on to much at once and trying to hold the weight of the world on her shoulders.

  Valeria has a very high metabolism and high responsive muscle cells. She is curvy and has an hour glass figure, meaning she has a narrow waist and wider hips. Valeria maintains her figure by being active and doing certain workout routines that benefit her body type.

  Valerias eye color is very common among her species. Many wood elves have green eyes. Valeria has insanely good eye sight and depth perception. She has never worn glasses or contacts before. Valeria loves her eyes and finds it to be one of her more attractive traits in her opinion.

  Valerias hair is very long and goes down to about her butt. Her hair is very soft and kind of silky. Her red hair is also her natural hair color. Valeria has never dyed her hair before and she never plans too. She had never had a problem maintaining her long hair. Her hair has been the same length to her most of her entire life. Valeria never wears her hair up simply because she doesn't like the way she looks with her hair up. Valeria will occasionally wear her hair in a braid or have braids in her hair. She also adores wearing a flower crown or a single flower in her hair at times.

  Valerias skin is very fair and she had an easy to burn complexion. She has pale, porcelain like skin that is very soft. This is her natural skin tone and she is very comfortable with it. Valeria has never had a tan in her life and when she spends to long in the sun she turns red and burns.

  Valeria has a burn scar on the outer side of her right thigh. She also has scars on her back. The burn scar on the outer side of her right thigh ended up being a third degree burn, destroying some of the epidermis and dermis while also going into the subcutaneous tissue. This burn left her unable to feel the parts of her skin that were damaged once it was healed. The burn left the damaged skin smooth, splotchy, white and a slightly different skin tone than her normal skin tone. The scars on Valerias back had been pink years ago and now the scars are more shiny and pale. The scars on Valerias back are a brutal reminder of her father after he had changed for the worst when she was younger. It is fairly difficult for Valeria to look at these scars sometimes without thinking of the past.

  Valeria has many different ear piercings. She has her ears pierced normally and she also has a second hole above the normal ear piercing on both sides. Valeria also has two hoops on her right ear and she also has three hoops on her left ear. Valeria also has her belly button pierced. Valeria prefers to wear metal jewelry for her piercings since metal is more durable that other materials know for body jewelry. She prefers them to also be more of a matte or solid color than a shiny material. Valeria has always liked ear piercings and tattoos and she always found it as a way to express herself more. She wasn't afraid or scared to get any of her piercings and getting the piercings didn't hurt at all in her opinion. Valerie had a very high pain tolerance.

Valeria doesn't share her true feelings or emotions very often and when she does it's only to a select few others that she's close to and absolutely trusts. It is also very hard for Valeria to open up to others. She is very guarded. Valeria is also a very logical thinker. She thinks with not only her brain, but also with her heart. Which can sometimes make decision making difficult for her. Valeria values knowledge and always has a drive and devotion to learn. She is also very independent and does not like to be controlled by anyone. Valeria can also be very sarcastic at times.

Her eyesight being the way it is really benefits her when using a bow and helps her locate nearby enemies easier, especially when sneaking about.
