  Although Chysana was without true injury, the responding expression she wore upon her face could easily persuade someone to believe she had been lanced at her backside and through the chest - anyone familiar with Chysana in the least knew she thought the world of her children, and if any of her young were ever distressed, there could be no mistake that the young mother would be too.
  
  The few words Inferno supplied back seemed to be true - as far as she could tell, anyways. He was without any bruises, scrapes or open wounds, and so, she would trust his claim that nothing was *physically* wrong, nevertheless it would remain harrowingly clear that *something* was amiss to her son. But, she would not press him further. Not now.
  
  "Of course," she whispered back to him, allowing her arms to fall away from his figure as the notorious silver aura materialized to consume her human shape; her canid form quickly expelled from the brilliant shimmering glow. She lowered her upper body to the ground, making the mission of mounting her backside to be without any trouble for him at all. Once she felt his fingers take a solid hold of the thick fur about her nape, she was off; her tread for the castle's exit almost entirely noiseless except for the faint tittering of her claws against the fine stone flooring.
  
  As the arctic hellhound meandered for her temporary shelter within the woods which skirted the Treschor estate, her granddaughter quite *literally* appeared out of *no where.* Given the direction of whence she came, it was as if she had not even come directly from the castle. Could that be right? Where else could she have been if not inside with Toby and her children? Naturally, her maternal instincts itched to inquire about the thought, but with Inferno's still unsound frame of mind, she opted to leave the matter untouched for the time being.
  
  Chysana allowed Liliana to stride past herself and her son; protective and watchful over her kin - as always - from the tail end. Soon enough, she returned to the self-made thicket with her family, and her scarred icy blue orbs remained completely hasped onto her boy from the time he'd dismounted, stepped away and then forth. She granted him the space he so obviously craved, but, of course, positioned herself to a location she may still look over him.
  
  Hours went by, yet Chysana was unmoved. Liliana had nodded off for the evening, but Inferno still kept away. With the inability to be patient being perhaps her greatest vice, the wolven mother eventually broke from her entirely still, gargoyle-like bearing; swiftly undergoing the transformation back to her humanoid form and appearing at her son's side within the blink of an eye.
  
  Chysana remained dressed in her lengthy navy ballgown, unbothered by the fact the fine fabrics were being pressed to the dirt beneath her - she never had been one to care much for lavish materialistic things. "You can tell me *anything,* you know." Her legs rose from their criss-cross applesauce formation, laying directly atop one another and veering towards Inferno's direction along with her upper body as her bare feet tucked themselves into the loose, warm surface of the earth. "Or we can sit here all night." Her jaw dropped against the peak of his upper arm, and when his red eyes would come to fall upon her façade, he would find her beaming up at him with a playful, almost childlike aspect to her own bright eyes which guaranteed - no, *promised* she would stay true to her challenge of waiting alongside him through every hour of darkness if that was the requirement to crack him open. Surely Inferno would not question her claim nor her incredible bullheadedness. He knew much better than that.
