    Practically a posterboy for Imperial bureaucracy, Severian Kell keeps his hair and clothing within regulations for length and cut, his brown hair kept short and neat, his face bereft of hair. Beneath the carbon-copy uniform he wears, however, he is a man in good shape, kept that way by rigorous adherence to a diet and exercise regimen. His expression often remains neutrally helpful, though when in stressful or uncertain situations, he will often put on what he considers to be a very professional neutral expression; it comes off, however, as a stoic mask, a little too intense and focused, often not breaking eye contact whatsoever during conversation. While he considers it somewhat of a 'poker face', hiding his emotions, the uniform use of this expression whenever he is in discomfort or uncertainty makes it clear, after a few incidents of seeing it, that it simply displays his feelings differently. When he smiles, even when it is natural, it seems somewhat forced.
