Description and Story
Nimu
Having lived mostly on his own, Nimu knows how to take care of himself, though his life in seclusion has made him quite naive and curious of nature.
Nimu is a young faun, residing in the Emerald Forest. He lives by himself, wandering the lush forest on his own as he likes to go out on adventures. He does, however, stay in one of the small faun and faerie villages in the forest from time to time, when he should get lonely from speaking to no one but his own shadow (and his reflection in the water, if he should go fishing).
His family lives in one of the inner villages, so he doesn't often get to visit them, though he's quite independent so he's doing fine on his own.
He rarely comes into contact with humans and human villages, but it's not because he dislikes them, but the faun and faeries are simply raised close to their own kin, and deep into the forest where the humans rarely set their feet. However, should a human wish to approach them, though it rarely happens, most faeries and fauns are quite hospitable and welcoming.
Should hostile humans, orcs or the like wish to enter the forest, wanting to capture the rather rare creatures that lives deep inside of it, the creatures of the forest will not welcome them - the same goes for creatures wishing to endanger the forest.
Nimu has been in a human city a couple of times, it is quite an interesting experience, though the large castle walls surrounding the city are usually quite overwhelming for the young faun. He shows up in the cities in order to trade with some of the humans, his goods typically consisting of fruit and rare flowers from the deeper parts of the forest and... Fish.
It's not all humans that are hospitable towards fauns and faeries, though Nimu hasn't experienced anything serious during his trips to the human city, he has heard stories.
The forest where Nimu usually lives, is called the Emerald Forest. It's quite lush, and filled with animals and magical creatures such as himself; fauns, fairies, elves, mermaids - and other mystical creatures. However, the creatures resides deep inside of the forest, almost hidden away from the usual harmless hunter that might give the outer parts of the forest a small visit to hunt for food.
Once you're far enough into the forest, you'll be able to see small pathways on the forest floor; leading the way between the smaller villages and other usual routes the creatures might go; the first villages to come across is faun and fairy villages, as elves live in the deepest parts of the forest. The merpeople live around the river that runs across the forest - a place Nimu spends an humorously large amount of his time fishing.
