Foster, albeit always looking a bit stoic, is a genuine, easy-going dude that just looks intimidating. And rarely ever speaking in class probably doesn't help, however, he's not much of a rude person once you've gotten to know him. Of course, he can be, and isn't afraid of confrontation... he just isn't actively getting under peoples skin because why the fuck not. He's pretty chill and languid all around while not coming off lazy; he's actually quite hard-working and can endure a shit ton. However, he really puts all hands in when it comes to sports, especially Soccer and Baseball. It's all he really cares about. His grades are average, nothing special, and he isn't some Einstein; he's not dumb, he could probably school some people in math, he just doesn't give a shit about his academics, to be honest. He gets good grades, so he doesn't fret over it much.
He's pretty easy to get along with and usually floats around with different 'friend groups', not being stuck to just one. He can cozy up to just about everyone if he wanted. However, he doesn't tend to push his luck; he knows a lot of the people he does from friends, family, or childhood. Usually, people tend to gravitate toward him and he doesn't mind all too much. Although it may not seem like it just from the very exterior of Fost, he's a humorous dude with a penchant for sarcasm. He loves a good sense of humor, 'specially twisted ones, and enjoys kicking it back with friends. When around people he considers close friends, he'll be a little more talkative. In Soccer and Baseball, he's not afraid to take the lead and help direct newbies. He takes his sports seriously and probably wouldn't be all too happy if the team is insulted, or if he hears some bullshit someone conjured up about the rules of Baseball or whatever. He'll school you easily when it comes to sports, no doubt; it's kinda funny.
Now, just because he isn't an asshole, doesn't mean he can't have a mean bone. He can be stubborn, hard-headed, and easily irritated. He doesn't puff up his chest, and doesn't flaunt his strength or some shit; if you want to fight, he'll fight. If you want to talk it out, he'll talk it out; he's a sort of simple dude when it comes to shit like that. If he has a problem with you, and you ask, he'll be upfront and blunt about it. He really just tries to stay neutral in a lot of situations; it also helps he isn't nosy. He knows what his business is, who it involves, and his boundaries.
