  Kouha Kannei is a rebellious student at Nanyo Acadamy.
  
  Kouha Kannei is one of the Big Four of Nanyo Acadamy, one of the four best fighters at the school, not that this means much considering the disparate power levels of the various members of the group.
  
  Kannei is in many ways emblematic of the problems of the gangs in Kanto. A young girl, rebellious and angry as many teenagers are, drawn into a world of combat and death. Trading fate for power is the ultimate sign of the stupidity of youth. Each that makes that Faustian bargain imagines, somewhere in their minds, that they will be the exception, that they will somehow overcome the power of their fates. Kannei is no different, she is an arrogant youth convinced that the early death suffered by her soul so long ago can easily be prevented.
  
  Still, she has not been without challenge. She has been unable to find the figure who in the tale killed her so long ago. Of course, the reason for this is that the tale was fictional and no such person exists, but Kannei is unwilling to consider this as it would, of course, mean her fate is sealed.
  
  Kouha is angry and confrontational. She has some degree of skill, particularly in chi-bombs which she delights to use to disable her foes before they die.
