    Covered in a coat of soft black fur, Selst is what a human might classify as a two legged fox from Earth. The truth is that the image is only skin deep. Studies have shown that the Vulpi have no relation to canines from Earth other than similar biological processes and external appearances. In Selsts case she bears a similarity to arctic foxes on Earth, primarily because her family group came from the the polar regions of their species home planet. She bears white fur upon her chest down to her groin as well as on the tip of her tail, ears, and hands. One of the biggest differences between Vulpi and canines from Earth is the presence of a crystal that grows within the Vulpi species. Young Vulpi do not have a great deal of this crystal in their system as it builds up overtime. This crystal also affects their physical appearance by creating solid growths upon the Vulpi. At the age of 22, Selst has a line of crystal growths along her spine, their color being a soft violet that seems to glow softly.

    Due to an unfortunate accident in her youth Selst actually lost her right arm and had it replaced with a prosthetic made in the style of the Vulpi. Made out of a strong bronze alloy and functioning with a mix of analog gears and electric motors it functions just as well as a normal arm and though encouraged to cover the arm with a faux covering that would make it look like her normal arm she has chosen not to. Selst typically wears tight fitting clothing that hugs her curvy form. She is not muscular or very agile as much of her time is devoted to scientific pursuit and studying at the university.
