  physical appearance:
  
  Trans is of average size and weight. His body type is vaguely muscular and somewhat on the bulky side. His features aren't perfect by any stretch of the imagination. He has a large nose, for one, but all and all he's of pretty solid construction. A few big scars pepper his torso that were too large to get rid of by conventional methods. Strangely, there aren't any scars on the more delicate areas of his face and hands, even though in battle these clearly are places that are often wounded. Why doesn't he have them? Well, cosmetic surgery and proper treatment.
  
  Scars on easily noticed areas of the body would give him a much gruffer appearance in the arena. They were going for kid just like everyone else, and Trans being covered in scars would severely hinder his image and his appeal.
  
  Trans' hair fades from red roots, a black midsection, to green tips. His natural hair color is black. It is often dyed to further his so called image
  
  Yes, Trans has a silly pair of bat wings. These wings are not real. They're costume pieces, again to add to the spectacle of the arena. His so called "persona" in the arena is a demon child, and the wings reflect that. His wings are made of vinyl, often torn in battle, and extremely unwieldy and annoying in the pit. He has voiced not wanting to keep them, but is forced to wear them. He doesn't want to wear them because they're not practical.
  
  His arena clothes are what is seen in references. He wears an ornate black shirt with red trim, and a pair of slacks with red lines going down each leg, criss crossing in front of the knee, and branching off at the shin. On his feet are a pair of heavy boots with pretty decent traction. On his arms are two metal armguards. Around his throat is a dog collar, thinly strapped, and spiked with red barbs surprisingly sharp to the touch.
  
  Outside the arena, his clothes are more casual, but still of the "cyberpunk" tribe due to his timeline.

  Transgenic's world is a lot like our own. There are good people, bad people, and for the majority of the time their technology is similar to our own. Transgenic's world is defined as Earth in the far future. Many advancements in medical technology have been made. People live far beyond the age that they should, really, and genetic engineering began to become the commonplace. There was a time where almost everyone walking on the street had some degree of modification, weather it was something as simple as genetic tattoos or something as advanced as having a full bio-engineered set of lungs. Back alley gene manipulation became all the rage, people paid money for seedy doctors to cut into them for cheaper prices and replace their organs with new, better functioning ones. Most people couldn't afford the real price, so the back alley ruled supreme. Cities were swamped with these illegal dealers who became, basically, the new drug dealers.
  
  There was a crackdown, though. Genetic engineering had it's serious opponents, and when artificial organs began malfunctioning in millions of people, genetic engineering was deemed too dangerous for the general population and outlawed entirely. This brought the further rise of genemodding becoming a black market, criminal enterprise, albeit a much smaller enterprise since the number of people willing to be cut into decreased drastically.
  
  Bioroids (artificially created human beings) began to be used for human trafficking, but the typical suburban person was totally safe and happy away from the knife.
  
  City dwellers, criminals, outlaws, and traffickers were different. Illegal genemodding became cool for those crazy enough to risk their lives for an improved set of fists. Don't listen to all that shit about the malfunctioning organs. I'm sure this guy is legit. You don't need your hands anyway, right?

  Transgenic started his life as a single cell built on some scaffolding, and eventually grew into a bouncing baby test subject under John Miguel's control. Transgenic really was only made to be a simple test subject for genemoding the immune system. His owner, John, was issued a grant by a local biotechnology company, and continued to test generic and rare diseases on Tran's body when it was in stasis. There was no need for Tranny here to be awake, so he was kept in a growth tank for years, muscular system exercised by charges and machines to keep them to mimic the normal human biology. For eleven years this went on perfectly, John becoming very wealthy and well known far and wide for his work developing new technologies for easily giving people the ability to fight off disease.
  
  Eleven years was not an eternity. Despite developments, the company disbanded in the big "crackdown", and went under. John quickly became poor, he struggled to work odd jobs, and find a use for the creature moldering in the vat. One simple day at his typical 9 to 5 job, he heard talk of illegal pitfighting. Apparently people were shipping animals from all over to fight in underground tournaments, humans and all other species included in the bloodthirsty brawls. This, he thought, would be his way out.
  
  John spent the last of his money and all of his time on researching upgrades to turn the test subject into a pitfighter.
  Trans had his bad days, but he became known in the pit. Hormones gave him an edge, and modified nerve tissue gave him speed many could not rival. He took beatings and dished them out, literally his mind turning off whenever he smelled that intoxicating scent of the pit and the warmth from artificial lighting. He was a hit for more than one reason, likely in part because of his larger than life personality, and the money started flowing back into dear ol' John's pockets.
  
  Trans hated it, at least at first. He hated the bloodshed, but more importantly, he hated being seen as an object from the people above. Time passed, and his mind began to slowly change. He turned around and basically became an attention whore because of all the affection others gave him in the arena's stands. The cheering crowds, the joyful banter spurred him on to create increasingly more brutal acts of bloodshed. The rooting of his name was ingrained into his head, and for the first time, he became happy and proud of himself. He relized they didn't see him as an object, or at least he thought, they saw him as a star. In reality, John was making modifications to his mind when he told Trans of routine checkups. Slowly John molded Trans into what he is today from genetic behavioral programming, forcing Trans to release biochemical agents such as serotonin when he entered the arena.
  
  
  The end? No.
  
  All the attention brought police investigations, and Trans was tossed to the curb like some sort of defect despite the money put into him. John 'got rid' of the evidence for fear of his life.
