    "Faster! If you are going to wield my scythe, you need to learn to be more aggressive!"
His weapon was taller than me and just as heavy. It was more suited for the Boogieman himself, not someone in need of power.
"Defense is more important!" I objected as I dodged his black sand. "This thing is way to big for me to be reckless with it!" 
"Only cowards rely on that! Remember why you wanted this so badly! Making such a deal is reckless on its own, even when you knew that you were not strong enough."
He sent a wave of black sand down on me from above. He wanted me to have no choice but to dive straight for him. I went backwards instead, knowing that it would be a trap. I heard him snicker and before I could look over my shoulder I was impaled by a sharp black object resembling a spear. 
"That is what cowards get."
    
    I fell off the couch onto the cold wood floor, the cold winter temperature still ongoing. I heard a door creek open and out came Sarah from her bedroom, walking towards me.
    "Daddy? What happened?" She asked me as I still laid on the cold floor.
    I got up and rubbed my head. "Nothing, kid, just a nightmare." I sighed and sat on the couch. "And I'm not your father, remember?"
    Her eyes went wide. "So that was why you were muttering like crazy. It must have been really bad."
    I was...?
    “I’m fine Sarah, I promise.” I said, pulling off a smile.
    She didn’t seem convinced but didn’t argue. “Ok then...Good night. I love you like a dad no matter what you say.” She got up and walked back to her room, shutting the door.
    “I love you too...”
    
    It was always tiring after a guest came to the the manor to speak with Earl Phantomhive, my young master for this location. Sometimes I doubted how long I could be convincing in this universe. An 1800s England universe.
    It was getting better though. I found the person Jack insisted me to keep an eye on. She went crashing into the kitchen window when I was chopping vegetables. I of course had to act like I wanted to kill her even when she vocalize the fact that she only came for some food to feed her children. How did the fight end? She gave me her number and teleported.
    You heard me.
    That happened in my first and last assignment where almost everyone had that ability. But the average human in 1800s England certainly didn’t.
    Moving on, I made a call and one night she took me to where she lived. It was a place like Snowdin, but more of a medieval vibe that I couldn’t describe to you. I met her 7 kids, one seems to still despise me. I believe his name is Joey. Sarah is curious about me and my lifestyle and it’s sometimes hard to make a good story.
    Sometimes trying to bond goes horribly wrong. Sarah almost go impaled by a grim reaper’s death scythe and when Ben stole a bat from a toy store while out for his birthday, the police chased us on foot. I hope nothing worse happens in the future...
