• Biography

  Chloe was born on the Greek island of Naxos. Her mom abandoned her and her father shortly after her birth; she has no memories of her mother. She grew up as an only child and her father doted on her. She often helped with his tourism business, where she quickly learned to speak English, French, and German in addition to her native Greek. At the age of 13, Chloe's father moved them to Raleigh, North Carolina in search of a more lucrative business idea. Chloe's classically Greek looks marked her as different, and she was bullied frequently. She withdrew, becoming something of a loner--something she was used to, as an only child on a small island--and learned to handle herself in a fight. Her relationship with her father also suffered.
  
  When she turned 18, she was planning a birthday party, when she was suddenly hit with a massive, head-splitting headache. Much to her terror and dismay, she found snakes were sprouting from her scalp, like a gorgon. She tried to cut them off, but the act caused so much pain that she screamed bloody murder, causing her father to come running. He took one look at her, declared her unsafe to be around, and kicked her out without even a moment to pack a single belonging. She's been on her own since.
