  Characteristics
  Hino is a Hallowed Angel of the holy city Avalon. Strong-willed, rebellious, and energetic, she's the first to jump into an exciting situation and the last to leave it. Unlike other angels, she has no affinity, but she doesn't let her disadvantage stop her from doing what needs to be done. Although her enthusiasm and strong personality intimidates others and constantly clashes with authority, those who embrace it are friends for life. Always one to break the norm, she believes that rules restrict individuality and freedom and people should be free to live their lives as they want to.
  
  Although she comes off as bull-headed (which, in all fairness, she is), her courage and endurance are unwavering. She's the one to protect those in danger, and her firm belief in fairness and freedom makes her a beacon of hope for those around her. Combined with her enthusiastic personality, she brightens up a room simply by walking into it, and she makes everyone around her feel safe and loved. Not afraid to speak her mind and do what's right, she will protect those she cares about with no hesitation. All of her actions underly an intense need for freedom which she craves above all else. She continues to stay true to herself and those she cares about, and anyone fortunate enough to befriend her has a kind, loyal friend who would fight to her dying breath to protect and save them.
  
  While her quest for freedom certainly benefits from her strong, determined personality, her greatest flaws originate from it. Because she will always act on her gut instinct rather than follow what is expected or preferred, her rebellious attitudes tend to result in risk-prone behavior that put herself and others in danger. Beyond that, by showing no respect for authority, she'll defy order given to her, even if it's important.   Because of her appreciation for individuality, she adores fashion and clothing. With a wardrobe full of unique pieces, she enjoys making herself and others feel powerful and special in their own way. Secretly, people in Avalon often visit her to get the latest tips, tricks, and advice about what to wear, and she's more than happy to share them. Because she's often fighting in the field, her preferred style is close-fitted and flexible.

Her dedication and spirit have contributed to her incredible efficiency and skill in the field, making her a powerful ally when fighting and capturing wisps. However, being one to enjoy the adrenaline and excitement, she prefers to fight up-close with hand to hand combat. If possible, she sticks with physical combat so she won't get any blood on her clothes, but she does have a dagger as a back-up if need be.
  
  In terms of food, she loves spicy; she could eat burning lava and say it's mild. If it's not hot, hot, hot, she doesn't want it. This line of thinking also applies to her music tastes as she prefers loud, energetic, upbeat, and fun. Pop and rock are some of her favorite tunes.
  
  Dislikes
  Her hatred of rules is the most obvious of her dislikes. Seeing them more as cages than anything else, she feels controlled and trapped when bound by rigid rules and regulations. Essentially, individuality is stripped from her, and such loss of freedom, in her eyes, is downright oppressive. Whether it's social, governmental, religious, or otherwise, any type of structure put in place to dictate behavior is a cage of injustice.
  
  Besides that, she doesn't like being watched. Of course, she loves attention and friends to be with her, but the notion of Big Brother strikes the wrong chord with her. If she didn't get permission, then she doesn't want eyes on her. Cameras are especially nerve-wracking for her because she doesn't know who's watching on the other side.
  
  Oh, and don't ever lie to her. Dishonesty is the number one way to get on her bad side. She wants to hear all things, good or bad, and when someone lies about a situation or their feelings, that's a sign of manipulation and control to her. The phrase "honesty is the best policy" definitely hits home for her.

  Created by the Core, a powerful source of energy in the center of Earth, Hino serves the Holy cities as an angel of Heaven. Although the exact beginning of her existence is unknown, she is, according to records, at least three hundred years old.
  
  Her rebellious and freedom-seeking nature immediately labeled her a troublemaker in the strict and regulated world of Heaven. Conversations about condemning her to prison frequently rose amongst higher-ups, but she continued to ignore their warnings and flaunt protocol.
  
  After thorough testing and education, her proficiency in drawing Core energy to perform spells assigned her to be a Hallowed angel, a type of angels which tracks down and captures rogue dead spirits known as wisps. Victoria, a prodigy among angels, was assigned to be her partner. Annoyed by the continuing labels and orders and infuriated at being partnered with a goody-two shoe, Hino showed little interest in her role. When the Principalities, managers of lower angels, allowed them to hunt wisps on Earth, stubbornness turned into excitement at the notion of being able to leave Heaven.
  
  Victoria's strict adherence to the rules clashed with Hino's flippant ignorance of them. However, after an encounter with a particularly powerful wisp, their combined teamwork to capture it bonded the two. Ever since their ranks have continuously impressed the Principalities. Hino continues to break regulation and protocol, though, so all the credit and praise is given to Victoria despite their equal efforts, teamwork, and protests.
