Treason Visael

A shape-shifter with a long and enigmatic history, the black-eyed one has most recently begun introducing themselves as "Treason", rather than Visael. Most commonly, Visael takes the form of either a sly human, or agile gray fox. No matter the form, however, one constant will always remain: Opalescent black orbs, for eyes, that need never blink or sleep.

-Humanoid Form-

As a human, Visael takes the form of a tall, barefoot man in smoke black coat and trousers. Visael's skin is pale and tinted with a strangely gray hue. At his belt, Visael keeps a sheathed brass-hilted dagger with an obsidian black blade. In spite of going barefoot, Visael never seems to develop callouses, nor harm himself on rough terrain; Similarly, his clothes never seem to stain. True wounds, however, spill blood as crimson as any other man- and usually evoke the same reaction.

-Fox Forms-

As an anthro, Visael retains the clothing available to his human form, with the addition of four full tails instead of one. Each such tail, representing a past incarnation, sway and flow individually behind him. His fur is that of a gray fox's, his eyes equally dark, his grin ever present, his form slender and agile. Visael may also choose to go feral; clothes and dagger meld into his form, carried along by the same strange magic that triggers his metamorphosis; Nothing else on his person does. Out emerges a simple, mundane fox, without a distinctive scar or marking save for eyes that remain utterly black and need never blink. In either form, Visael retains the ability to speak, though he rarely chooses to do so as a feral.

Magic?

In a high-fantasy setting that focuses largely on magic, Visael detects, and is treated as a possessed, potentially undead being, leeching energy from around them. In a low-fantasy setting, Visael is, at most, a strange (but very much living) character with some form of magical potential and a fractured mind. Consider discussing an RP's setting beforehand, especially in regards to its magic system; Otherwise, default to Low-Fantasy.

Visael's past experiences have lent him a number of abilities, ranging from petty shadowmancy and illusory magic to the ability to exploit his spiritual form and nature. For this reason, consensual RP is generally preferred.

It is always important before any given RP to determine which of Visael's forms are available or prohibited by the setting.
