Perceous Ungarrth

Standing at around 5ft 10in, Perceous Ungarrth is a quite unhealthily slender but rather handsome looking male, appearing in his early 20s.

His jet black hair is styled by two bangs that hang from either side of his face, separated by a fringe; a crescent moon-shaped set of spikes adorn the back of his hair. Held up by static electricity that is magically fused into his hair to prevent it from dispersing. However, he can dispell this as and when he pleases, allowing his hair to fall naturally to his shoulder blades, full and glistening. Often than not, however, it is for special events.

With piercing sapphire blue eyes, Perceous has matching tattoos for them. Initially, when his eyes are open, they seem like two simple vertical lines in the middle of each eye, reaching from his cheek to past his eyebrows; with small horizontal lines going across them. Like a timeline, almost. However, when his eyes are closed, the outlines of the eye of Anubis can be seen adorning each lid, mirroring each other, connecting the already existing lines.

His guild mark for Fairy Tail is placed upon his forehead in white, with gold outlines.
"Brute strength is a useful tool, but when applied without thought, it becomes mindless destruction."

His typical attire could be considered that of a beggar. Battered and worn garments and items often adorn him.
A black polo t-shirt with a few bits of patchwork and rips, as well as the left sleeve missing. A black mask and loose hood covers his neck when not in use. Smart black dinner trousers that have somewhat seen better days are what is on his legs. A torn, battered and patched black waist cape for accessorisation, wrapped around him by a bit of rope. Black Oxford, 1in heeled shoes that are somewhat scuffed, encase his feet. But, of course, he has socks; a little holey, but efficient none the less.

On his right wrist, a gold cuff bracelet with a lone lacrima in the centre that stores a little pocket of lightning energy. He often presses it to gain a small charge to ensure a safe and clean getaway from a fight, wherein, he likely would have used a vast majority of his magic reserves.

On the other arm, on his shoulder is a scold scar, left by his father. A golden cuff decorates his arm below that.

Usually a very friendly person, Perceous is a kind and caring individual; who is, a majority of the time, very calm and collected; as well as being a very selfless and considerate man who only seeks to help those around him and make others lives better in any way, even if it is only a little.

Very intelligent and spiritual, Perceous looks upon the world with an interesting pair of eyes. Often finding enjoyment, truth, and curiosity within philosophy and prophecy. This has led him to be fairly persuasive towards others, often speaking formally most of the time, and in riddles the rest of the time. A slight air of discipline is always about him.

However, if ever someone comes into in danger, he soon turns serious & calculated; keen to protect his loved ones, friends, guildmates, acquaintances and strangers alike. Even at times, his enemies.

But often than not, his downfall on many occasions is how emotionally-driven and selfless he is. On top of this, he is emotional. There has been more than one time where a friend of his has fallen, been tortured or hurt in some way. And as a result, Perceous has become enraged.

You can normally tell how enraged he is, purely by judging on how bad his magic is flaring up. If he is sparking violently, he is only, by normal standards, angry. If he is furious, a red flame appears over one of his eyes. (This flame is actually pure lightning energy.) Another one appears in the other eye, he is outraged beyond measure.

It is also worth noting that the angrier he gets, the more powerful he becomes, but the less thought out his attacks and strategies are, and the stronger his bloodlust becomes.

Possessing Lightning God Slayer magic, Perceous is a very adept and skilled mage. However, often than not, he tends to utilise this power to fight like an assassin.

He has a wide variety of lightning spells which are but not limited to:

Lightning Hidden (A variation of the Hidden spell, this one grants the caster invisibility and, whilst invisible or dispelling, empowers their next lightning spell. The spell is broken in the process, however, since it is utilising the energy from the spell.)

Lightning Whip (The caster extends a strand of lightning from their hand. This can stick to some objects, such as hilts of blades, metal poles, etc.)

Electric Shockwave (The caster charges a ball of lightning and, depending on where the caster's fingers are pointing (thumb included), once the caster punches said ball of energy into one's hand in an outwards fashion; the lightning travels down in the direction of each finger. This is exceptional for multiple opponents, as you could hit them all at once.)

Supersonic Dash (This grants the caster the ability to go from 0mph-Mach 1.35 in under 1 second, and protects the caster from g-forces and such. However, the longer the spell used, the more magic it consumes.)

Teleportation - short-range (This grants the caster the ability to disintegrate one's self into particles, then reappear a few metres away from the original cast point.)

Lightning Teleport - long-range (This grants the caster the ability to call down a lightning bolt from the sky, at will, and break one's self down to electrons. Then progress onward until your destination is reached, where the process starts over but in slight reverse.)

Energy Restoration (This allows the caster to convert their magic energy into electrons and ions, send them forward and heal someone. For example, close a seemingly life-threatening wound.)

Perceous also can sense ki, a life energy that surrounds all living things, be they aware of it or not within roughly a 50-metre 3D radius. Each individual has its/his/her own ki, no two are the same; however, in siblings and family, there are similarities. Ki reflects your true feelings, meaning if you were to say you were alright to Perceous, and you were feeling extremely low. Perceous would pick up on this, and know that you're lying.

Ki also acts as a slight mystical barrier that can be turned on and off, unlike ki sense. Protecting Perceous from a whole host of different things. Physical and magical.
The only weakness is that ki is something only living things have. So members of the undead and those of cybernetic origins will be able to surprise Perceous without a problem; provided they haven't touched anything living, as, like a fingerprint, someone can leave their ki on you. Then, depending on its age determines the likelihood of Perceous detecting it.

Perceous is also adept with daggers, two of which he carries. They're backward curved blades with a small grove on the back of the blade, mainly used for zipping down wirings. It is also important to know, while he does use them, it isn't too often he'll utilise his blades for combat.

He also has command of one or two different types of spells such as a couple of wind techniques, a simple fire spell, and a touch of light magic. As well as a piece of nullification magic that most nullification mages have forgotten, as it requires you to be up close and personal with your target.

This spell is known as "Spellbinder". Simply focus on your opponent's magical power, concentrate on locking it away, then place your index and middle fingers on their forehead and shout the spell name. If direct contact is made for 3 seconds, a glyph will appear on the target's forehead. This glyph will siphon every drop of magic away into it, preventing them from using any magic. A glowing symbol in the middle of the glyph shows when it is complete. However, the cost of this is that they become immune to other forms of magic, be it beneficial or harmful.
The only way for it to be broken is to either die or have the caster dispell it, by breaking the seal.

Also, being from Olus (Realm of the Gods), Perceous has access to a whole host of different and powerful spells in his arsenal. Most of these, however, are in the old forgotten language of Olus, God Tongue. These are, but not limited to:

Tengoku no Nahsek/Heavenly Shower (This utilises streams of blinding light to dazzle and hinder the opponent by first lifting your hands to the sky, then throwing your fists to the ground. The sky will then begin to shoot down light so bright it may hider someone for a good while.)

Issen Raitoningu Nos/Thousand Lightning Strike Attack (Requiring an enormous amount of magic to even cast, this strikes the caster's foe with rapid-fire positively charged lightning strikes. Each 1 with the same amount of power as 5 regular positively charged strikes.)

Olus Kami no Sutetasu/Olus God Status (The caster calls down all the power of Olus to transform them into a far more powerful version of themselves until dispelling. However, if a human were to cast this spell, they would only be able to use it for about 15 seconds before the spell eats them alive due to the vast amount of magic power it requires to sustain it. If a 1/4 Olus God were to use it, it would mean hospitalization upon dispell. Demi-Gods tend to just pass out upon dispelling. 3/4 Olus Gods tend to feel drained but otherwise ok after using this spell. And finally, full Olus Gods suffer no ill effects from dispelling.)

It is also worth noting, that Perceous is a martial arts master. Although his main practice is Shaolin Kung Fu - Mantis style, he is also skilled in the following but not limited to:

Judo - Main Style: Sambo
Muay Thai
Karate
Taekwondo
Tai Chi
Aikido
Ninjutsu
and others.

He also has lightning-fast reactions, can imbue his limbs with his magic to increase his speed output & is super-humanly intelligent. To the point where he knows how hard to hit an opponent and where to either incapacitate or kill.

As well as this, Perceous is also ridiculously athletic. Boasting a large stamina pool and mastery of parkour/free-running, Perceous is supremely agile. He once, without the use of any speed enhancing magic, managed to run from one end of the city of Magnolia to the other, in under 15 minutes.

With all these skills in tow, it comes to no surprise that Perceous is a very accomplished thief. Being able to pick locks in an instant, remain undetected for extended periods of time & moving as silently as a ghost. Once managing to steal 1 million Jewel from a nobleman's luxury home, and only got sighted during his escape. By which point, it was over. He was already gone by the time the guards caught up to where they saw him.

During his travels, as well, he picked up the art of alchemy. Being quite the herbologist, from his small alchemist shack next to his home, Perceous can concoct a variety of different cures and remedies for near enough any ailment. Using mostly only what nature provides for him to use. He has a special, if tattered, notebook; containing classification of different plants and minerals, their properties, and even potion recipes that they feature in.

Included in his leisure activities is his extensive book collection, which spans to the near to the top of the ceiling in its own dedicated section of his home. Containing every story, spellbook and tome he as collected over his time. He also enjoys playing the lute, writing poetry, ballroom dancing, watching plays & theatre, and meditating.

And, lastly, he is a very skilled cook. Begin able to cook numerous recipes from across Earthland, he has melted even the coldest of hearts with how tasty his cooking is. However, even though he will gladly cook with meat, Perceous is actually a vegetarian.
