  Izunata has beautiful pale skin, soft glowing, ominous looking red eyes and messy shoulder length black hair with thick and heavy bangs that cascade over her features and frame her face. She is of far eastern origins and has a very oriental air about her. She wears black and carries a chokuto blade strung across the small of her back. Her typical facial expressions are subtle, monotone and very empty looking which makes the rare scowls or glares she does show all the more unnerving and profound.
  
  Both of her arms are wrapped tightly in thick, black bandages from palm to shoulder, with only the length of her fingers exposed. Her eyes emit a mystic, eerie glow that grows more profoundly in the dark and has been known to unnerve those that gaze into them. Her gaze is constantly likened to something a predator would possess.
  
  Powers & Abilities: Dirge is a Starborn, a rare being born with arcane affinity and supernatural powers compared to the masses. She is also a Starborn born into the Yagyu clan, a bloodline with a natural affinity to birth Starborn with a darker alignment. Because of this, her clan is ostracized and power hungry, driven by the need to dominate and conquer those they deem weaker than them.
  
  Physical Ability: Izunata is physically beyond the average person from her homeworld by far. Her physical strength and speed allow her to attack enemies faster than the eye can see thanks to a special movement technique known throughout her clan as Shadow Step. She can easily cover large distances in a blur of speed, cut through hard objects with her sword and take quite a few hits in return.
  
  Swordsmanship: Izunata’s clan is well known for their swordsmanship. Izunata in particular is well versed in Iajutsu and Kenjutsu. She is highly proficient with wielding her chokuto blade which is enchanted to increase its cutting power in both standard and reversed grips as well as utilizing kendo. Rarely, she dual wields but prefers not to do so as it “feels clunky” to her.
  
  Arcane Ability: Izunata’s trademark arcane power is the ability to wield “The Abyss Flame”, which is black colored fire that not only burns stronger than regular fire, but leaves lasting injuries that never heal (if the fire burns long enough) and also has weighted force behind it.
  
  For example a fire blast from Izunata would have physical weight behind it along with the burning attributes. This differs from regular fire which is gaseous. The Abyss Flame is said to be the conglomeration of her clans sins given offensive form. When she uses this power it usually emits off the left or right side of her body (never both as she is not capable of controlling it too well) from her arm to the sides of her head.
  
  Beyond this she is capable of more nuanced magic such as concealing her presence, creating summons and making afterimages.
  
  Noroigan (Cursed Eyes): Izunata’s eerie glowing red eyes are a staple in her bloodline, and are called the Noroigan. These eyes are infused with aetherial energy (hence their glow) and grant Izunata fluidity in her attacks. She can see aura in colors, has enhanced visual abilities and possesses a forbidden ability called Psycho Warping, which twists her thoughts and perception of the world at the cost of sanity.
  
  Psycho Warping allows her to turn the inner machinations of what shouldn’t be inside her head into reality by projecting it through her eyes. She can use this ability to warp herself short distances by twisting the concept of transportation, make her injuries disappear by twisting the concept of damage and most importantly, inflict curses on others by manipulating the laws within her head and how they impact everything around her.
  
  Psycho Warping is the trademark ability of her eyes, the right eye emits the magical power while the left transcribes it with her thoughts.
  
  Weaknesses: Despite all of Izunata’s impressive abilities, she is not without some very debilitating weaknesses.
  
  For starters, her stamina both physically and arcane are rather average. This coupled with how most of her arcane abilities are curse afflicted and devour massive amounts of power make her usually rely on physical abilities or more mundane magic abilities to defend herself. She cannot spam her Noroigan or her Dark Fire. As the former ravenously drains her arcane energy and the latter drains not only her arcane energy, but also damages her body over time.
  
  Overuse of her Noroigan results in eye strain, eye bleeding, blurred vision, severe headaches and delirium and eventual blindness. The blindness only happens if she goes past the point of no return. Before that is reached, visual impairments usually resolve themselves after periods of rest.
  
  Overuse of her Dark Fire damages her body greatly. Her skin starts to burn, her nerve endings feel as if they’re melting and every cell in her body starts to experience excruciating pain to the point she loses focus and wounds up going out of control. To stave this off, she uses her fire only in quick bursts. She cannot create continuos streams of fire or anything that requires prolonged energy usage or emission.
  
  Holy/Divine abilities are a hard counter to her all around. Those with the ability to see through illusion and change can also counter the effects of her Psycho Warping.
