  The blocks of houses that brimmed the streets of the small town gave a rural and cryptic look and vibe. The few whom made their way down the near empty street were mostly tourists. The sky was painted a soft lilac, indicating the setting of the golden sun. Just half a mile outside of this town was a small two story house painted a simple eggshell white. Windows that let in natural light were covered by hanging curtains, ranging from gold to black, blocking the view inside.
  The deep rumble as a truck pulled up to the house sent birds soaring away. The rusted blue truck parked neatly in the driveway, as a blonde male stepped out, taking in the magnificent surroundings and house. The thud of the passenger side closing made the 6’7 male look over. “Ah, Dai, look, isn’t the house just perfect?” He asked his son with a smile.
  The teen whom had just exited the car sighed, and said yes. He had several piercings, one over his left eyebrow and one on his lip. His hair was a bleached shade of ivory white with unbleached blonde tips. His gaze was soft, contradicting his bad boy theme, with deep purple bags underlining his eyes. He had warm golden eyes, a sad look in them.
  He walked into the house with a soft sigh and went up the stairs. He went down the simplistic hall and into the second room, collapsing onto the bed. The bed had a golden comforter and black sheets. He winced as he rolled onto his back and watched the roof. A hour or so went by and he fell asleep.
  
  Dai awoke to the subtle chirping of birds, his window slightly cracked to let in the morning air. He groggily sat up, and stretched. He looked much better, but a sad look still gleamed in his golden eyes. Dai stood up, looking in the mirror. He opened the drawer on the left, revealing some basic makeup. He applied concealer over his under eyes that were tinted slightly purple. A yawn escaped his lips as he brushed his messy hair. His hair was cut to be short on the sides and longer ontop, resembling a unstyled Mohawk.
  He heard a loud and smooth voice yell up at him, “Dai! Why don’t you go and meet some locals! I heard the town isn’t to far! Just walk down and say hi!”
  He groaned as his father yelled for him to go and socialize, but he reluctantly called back, “Okay, fine!”
  He slipped off his t-shirt and put on a yellow and black hoodie he didn’t remember owning but found really enticing. He decided he could continue wearing the blue jeans he had arrived and slept in. And so he was heading out the door.

  The avian stood, his wings tucked neatly behind his back with his shoulder propped against the wall. His green gaze scanned the room filled with drunken bigots and filthy swine. The Demonologist told a sip from the mug grasped tightly in his right hand, his white knuckled fingers holding onto it as if for dear life. The he was obviously less than sober, the drink he held in his bedazzled mug smelling of strong liquor. He looked about 21, certainly no younger than 19. He had heavy black wings, that upon closer inspection were empurpled in the light.
  This avian was a fine specimen, with large muscles and handsome, bright eyes. His skin was a burnished chestnut, with eyes the color of a fine emerald. He wore a tight, sleeveless hoodie of deep grey, with two darker stripes running down its right side and it’s hood. His fluffy locks of black held much volume, keeping its place instead of falling down over his face. A perpetual look of irritation stained his face, giving him a ‘Badboy’ aura. By his side hung a holster, Strapped safely in it was a pistol that had streams of glowing green radiation through its cracks and crevices. Everything about this He seemed to make those not want to bother him, like a raven. Dark, and mysterious.
