• Description

  Kalliope is a short and sturdy girl of round features and a very youthful complexion. She is 5'2" tall and bears a thickset, pear-shaped frame, her hips and rear significantly more curved than her chest. These curves are perhaps equal parts muscle and fat, as she stays busy enough in her travels to keep from gaining weight, but doesn't do any serious training or exercise beyond that. Her skin is the color of chocolate and she's made attempts to tame her curly, dark brown hair by tying it back into a bun (save for some fashionable fringe on her forehead), but these attempts seem futile when compared to the abundance of loose strands that continue to fall out.
  
  Her face is probably the most notable part of her body. Beyond the standard human nose, full lips, and light spray of freckles across her features, the two things that will immediately stand out to any onlookers are her eyes and ears. Wide, aquamarine colored eyes with slit, reptilian looking pupils adorn her face, and on either side of her head, poking out beyond her semi-tied up mess of hair, are two fin-like structures, composed of three spines with thin sheets of skin between them, colored a slightly darker shade of aqua from her eyes. These ears and eyes don't impair her senses in any way, but they have earned her some funny looks and rude remarks in the past, so she's a bit insecure about them. Additionally, she has faintly aqua-tinged webbing between her fingers and toes, which makes her a bit clumsy in handling things, but a phenomenal swimmer.
  
  In terms of fashion, she favors loose, flowing gowns that give her limbs and body room to breathe. They usually stop about her knees or midway down her thigh and sometimes have to be tied or pinned up to achieve this length with clothy belts and high-waisted girdles. (think Greecian chitons) Sleeves are short, if present at all. She likes bright cool colors that remind her of the sea, such as blues, greens, and everything in between, with brass jewelry and seashell necklaces for added style. If the ground allows it, she usually doesn't wear shoes.
