Alaire

A real casanova type. He likes to flirt and sleep around much to his family's contempt. It doesn't matter whether someone is male or female... if they're beautiful he will try his hand at bedding them. Usually he succeeds because of his natural charm and good looks. Usually. His flirting can be laid on a bit too thick which can be off-putting to some.
His distaste for all things serious means he doesn't do relationships well.

Alaire isn't one to take really much of anything serious whether it be deadlines, business meetings, or social matters. He's the type of guy that never arrives sooner than thirty minutes late. Some would call him careless, but he prefers to think of himself as laid back. He hates attending social gatherings with his family not only because the stuffy atmosphere drives him up the wall, but also because he can't stand the judgmental gazes the attendants throw his way.

If it weren't for the fact his family is incredibly wealthy his lifestyle would probably have him living on the streets by now.

His parents, in an attempt to quell his careless behavior, have promised their son's hand to another affluent family's daughter for marriage. Alaire is beyond annoyed at the arrangement. Not only is he upset with his parents, but he finds his bride endlessly annoying despite her beauty.
She's younger than himself and hopelessly enamored by his "princely" charm. The girl clings to him endlessly whenever they are together she also loves to publicly flaunt their engagement seemingly unaware that her fiance would rather have nothing to do with her.

In fact, Alaire often loses his patience with his bride-to-be and can be quite sarcastic or even rude towards her. Not that she notices.
