• Personality

  Maddox is an individual who prefers the appeal of nature as opposed to people and the society in which they form. Feeling a natural draw among plants, animals, and any human who would prefer to seek out a similar peace. As when it comes to cities and being clustered in with people he finds it a contradiction for them to consider themselves such a bastion of order when it seems to make them all the rowdier. It has been largely the reason why he has worked so hard to get to a place in which his magical power and knowledge draw the desire of the elite to make him their private Sorcerer up to the level of the Court. Wanting his inherent gifts and passion to take him further in life.
  
  Although apparently law-abiding this is only to the extent in which he assumes the law will maintain safety to the citizens in letter and spirit. A kingdom that is unable to provide that he considers no rightful kingdom and largely viable for him to consider grounds to tear down inside and out. In a rather dramatic and horrifying display as well which can depend on the degree he feels that the kingdom in question has let down its subjects. Though he's not exactly pushing for democracy anytime soon either, feeling a leader should be groomed since birth to take on the role and finds the idea of a largely uneducated populace governing themselves to be rather ghastly. Another reason for his more introverted nature.
  
  Yet he does have a manner in which he is quite decent around people, polite and cordial to them with a dry wit that often disguises whatever frustrations he happens to be experiencing at the time. Though with the much more common impression being that he is simply a well-mannered wizard of great talent, picking up on it tends to mean little save for a shared laugh among those who appreciate it especially in light of his mostly serious nature.
  
  A lot of the gentleness he lacks towards humans is directed mainly to what lies within the natural world, especially birds as their clear ability which grants them the freedom to be anywhere they wish is fascinating to him. Extending to his own interest in mastering teleportation spells. To be able to travel just as freely and explore what is unknown to him.
  
  He is also fiercely protective of the natural world, enforcing a limit to what humans can take and to be prepared to replace what they can. Something which can become rather violent and intense as more than a few deaths have come of this.

• Powers and Abilities

  Nature Magic- His specialty area of magic is related to nature and its domain, life. The ability to grant healing, grow new plants and extend the domain of many forests and other forms of wild areas. Able to interact with animals in such a way that they come under his guidance on how to act with the goal always being for them not to come to harm. The most powerful spells in his arsenal involve conducting rituals to summon the spirits of nature as physical guardians for him to consult for knowledge or to aid in any needed defense.
  
  Shadow Magic- He has control over the shadow aspects of the physical world, being capable of making them physical and using the reach of the shadow's of people to serve as a spy gaining knowledge behind enemy lines and using his own shadow as a duplicate of himself if the need arises.
  
  Conjuration- Capable of summoning and banishing all forms of items and beings, and this partially falls under teleportation as well in being able to do so for others and himself.
  
  Mental Magic- Possesses a will to create magical shields against any mage attempting to access his mind, and can draw upon it to cast energy of such magic of his own making a purely mind-based attack.
  
  Assorted Magic- Due to his extensive studies he possesses a wide range of magical abilities which outside of his specialties is quite varied in his abilities. Fireballs, Ice Spells, Armor Animation, Illusions, etc. Though none with quite the mastery of his specialty magic.
