He has quickly earned a head of grey hair within a decade. This has earned him the title of Grey Mane, a name that he loathes very much.

  Born of interracial, immigrant parents, Zizek always wanted to be a detective. He graduated at the top of his class at the academy and threw himself into work at his precinct. Within 6 years, he was a detective with one of the highest number of cases closed. In the past decade of work, his hair had started to turn grey, earning him the loathsome title of Grey Mane.

  Two years ago, Zizek made the worst mistake of his life. After his father died, his mother developed a crippling gambling addiction. Within a few months, she had outstanding debts to some unsavory characters. Fearing for her mother's life, Zizek cut a deal with the local mafia. They paid off her debts, in return for Zizek's service to the group.
  
  Zizek is a corrupt detective
  
  Today, Zizek is a shadow of his former self. His peers have noticed the fall in his performance and ambitions, but his superb record makes them overlook this. The number of cases he solves has gone down, and he has had to derail more and more investigations for the mafia he is indebted to. They have extensive documents that describe the debts that his mother beholden to. If the documents were to be leaked, Zizek's lifelong dream would be ruined.
  
  When Zizek approached them, they were a small-time mafia. But with his support, they've have grown more and more successful. They can take out an enemy mafia and Zizek will remove the evidence that they were ever there. They can raid half a dozen banks and Zizek will derail all investigations. Even if they have a leak, Zizek will let them know who it was. Now, they outright own casinos, clubs and other businesses across town. They have eyes and ears everywhere and can make anyone disappear at any time. To this day, this is Zizek's greatest regret.

  Zizek cannot hunt them down. Word will reach them and he would be destroyed. However, this does not mean he will stop fighting. They are very tight-lipped about their activities, but he believes that he can trace out the mafia's operations. With each request they make of him, he learns more and more about them.
  
  Since Zizek holds himself responsible for their rise to power, he has undertaken this risk-laden path of outlining all their secrets and eventually dismantle their operation. This mad quest has nearly driven him insane. He has become paranoid, cruel and selfish.
