• Personality

  Quirky, hyper, and sassy in a way that makes her come across as a modern liberal adult who would fit right at home in Silicon Valley. This is all a facade to fit in with those considered her peers by the mortal community and to not be so out of place in the environment she chooses to usually integrate herself into. Within is an intense and wise woman, partially formed due to her lifespan and also due to the nature of her personal experiences. This is made easier as she considers the affairs of the mortal realm with little weight and much easier to dismiss, and a method of distancing herself from mortals in general as the possibility of quick loss relative to her perspective makes the company of fellow immortals in a true and sincere company the much more preferable option.
  
  When it comes to her true self, Yolanda is always seeking out the next big secrets of her studies with intense determination and a drive to know what she has yet to learn. She seems to be mostly serious, but her wit and more unique nature still show through as she expresses humor around those she feels a sense of solidarity towards. Gladly sharing secrets with those willing to share those of their craft. With those select companions is also who she enjoys indulging in the little things with, and having any range of fun that could be considered somewhere on the scale of sophisticated and immature as there's always the possibility the standard will change.
  
  On her own, besides the intense and serious pursuit of knowledge, she is calm in her daily routine and the small pleasures she relishes to brighten what may come to be a day that would fade from her memory and vast existence. Making her seem distant from the rest of the world even as she is strongly connected to the city which is the source of her magic. Making her more distant and apathetic to the realm of nature even as she knows that there's a noted symbiotic relationship that creates a very awkward respect but nothing more as she pays the negative view of her by nature mages and spirits in kind.
  
  She very much scoffs at the concept of anything having inherent authority due to age or universally recognized ideals. As far as she is concerned, if something is not self-destructive and can stand the test of time for at least a few centuries then it deserves its unique form of respect. As although she values the cities that grant her power, she is highly critical of those that can not maintain their infrastructure or hurt more than they help.
  
  Thus she does her best to help even the mortal citizenry as she projects a big-picture vision of the development of cities and long term sustainability to maintain her power and immortality. Even though deep in her heart it is out of compassion for those who need a place to be able to live outside of the primordial and chaotic realm of nature.

  Urban Magic- Yolanda's magic is inherently linked to cities, and although she prefers her native New York City on the island of Manhattan due to familiarity she can gain similar ability within any city or urban establishment. Anything larger than a rural village is when her more noted skills begin to manifest. Her preference being the flow and control of electronic data as it is a new and highly useful area for her. There is a greater extension to having the knowledge and limited control over the streets, buildings, and various infrastructure. As well as being able to draw from its living energy.
  
  Computer Science- Having taken an interest in electronics as a new study relative to her she has an expert understanding from a mortal perspective. Being capable of impressive coding and the creation of algorithms as well as being skilled in the construction of the hardware.
  
  Water Magic- Having been surrounded by a large body of water much of her life, she has studied the use of water magic to a great extent. Learning to change its state of matter, bring about rain or snow, direct the tides and even connect to the primordial forces and spirits related to such a powerful life granting body over the world.
  
  Street Smart- Growing up in Manhattan, she has an understanding of the street element of any city. The homeless, criminal element and those who live within the grey area of the law. She is well connected and knows just how to handle and maintain those connections.
  
  Demonology- With a dark element often accompanying sentient beings she has gone about learning about demons and other similar dark creatures to master the urban legends, understand negative natures to control it and exorcise when necessary.
