  Emerah was born into slavery. She was a diamond amongst coal, so to speak. She had been gifted with the voice of an angel, as it was discovered in her younger years. She would be the crown jewel of entertainment at parties, often worked to the point of exhaustion. Her mother, weak and ill, would always assure her it would all be okay in the end.
  
  However, one day in her early teens her mother gave out. With her passing, Emerah had taken enough. She retaliated, slaughtering the monster whom she worked for.
  
  After, she fled. It was a grand scheme; she stole an XS-Light Freighter and booked it. And from then on, she was a smuggler. Dodging Bounty Hunters, risking her neck to collect her next paycheck... she was free.
