Emma Beckett

No one really knows what Emma looks like, but her go- to look is of a young woman with long blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is of average build and average height, able to pass as any normal face in the crowd. Unless she wants to stand out, she won't.

Her typical look, minus the exposed frame:

She does not have to eat, drink, or sleep (if charged)
She can change her appearance to a minor extent if she wishes to- eye and hair color, for example

The only natural part of her body is her brain, making fatal attacks harder.

Emma's fabricated body, while more durable than any normal human's, is still destructible. If one should damage her enough to get to her brain, she could definitely die.

While she could potentially live forever if kept in a safe environment, such is not proven. She is in an experimental body and thus is prone to glitches and malfunctions, some of which could prove fatal to her.

Her body is a machine with several smaller machines inside it- optical, audio, and touch sensors, for instance, as well as oxygen and blood regulators and nutrient injectors that feed her brain what it needs to stay working. If one of said machines is damaged beyond a certain extent, she could die.

Only her skin self-heals.

She can be stunned or shut down to just her backup emergency power with electric attacks or EMP waves, and can be restrained with normal human restrains.

While her mind can't be hacked or overridden by technology, there were other measures put in place to keep her under control. She has been essentially brainwashed and turned into a puppet, and her memory has been wiped. She does not remember a life before the facility, or even her real name or age. She also struggles with feelings of loyalty to the facility that imprisoned her.

She has to be charged once in a while to keep her running at maximum capacity. Otherwise, she must eat organic matter regularly. If she is not charged or fed organic matter, her body will shut down.

Emma does not remember anything before the age of thirteen, and honestly, perhaps that's for the best. Her first memory is of waking up in a body that was not her own, with touch receptors and skin that didn't really feel quite right. And to her right, there was another body. This one was human- a dead adolescent girl strapped to a table, her scalp shaved and bloody, and her skull impossibly empty.

She wanted to throw up, or cry, or both. But in a robot's body, that was impossible.

She could eat, but tasted nothing. She could drink, but felt nothing. She couldn't feel pain or light temperatures. Extreme temperatures barely affected her.

The next few years were filled with a blur. Most of the time it was training or education, but sometimes she'd have to go back to that room, the room she was reborn in. Eventually, she lost count of how many times she was strapped down, of how many times she had to watch her limbs be pulled off and replaced.

Every time she saw that green blood that came from her wounds, she was reminded ever so clearly that she was not human. She wasn't...her. And every time they put her back in her charging station for the night, her feet locked down and her arms held still, she felt their hands pry the back of her neck open to charge her.

At least, not until that fateful night, when all her plans aligned with a well-timed takedown and a lucky disabling of the alarm system. So she was whisked away under the cover of darkness, stowed away on an outgoing cargo ship, only to be dumped into a world she knew nothing of. A world she didn't remember, and a world that wasn't ready for her.

With a heavy heart and with hunters on her heels, Emma set off to try and find someone or something that was.
