Elvira Wright

Elvira Ingrid Wright was born in Oslo, Norway, as the result of a three year affair between her Norwegian mother and American father at the beginning of the nineties. Her mother was a violinist at the Oslo symphony orchestra and her father a historian working at the University of Oslo. The two met at classic art exhibition, and three years later Elvira came into the world.

Not unlike her parents, Elvira was an extraordinarily gifted child. She quickly proved highly intelligent and excelled in school. She played the oboe and took all her scientific classes at the highest levels. To her detriment, her mother died when she was eleven. As a result, she and her father moved to Ohio to reconnect with what was left of his family. Unfortunately, they too faded away within a few years. After 4 years of funerals, with both Elvira and her father burying themselves in their work, she graduated high school at the age of 16. Eventually, she moved to London to study Forensic Science at Cambridge University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Forensic and Criminal Science.


At the age of just 22 she had finished her Master’s and moved back to Ohio to be close to her father. She got a job as a Forensic Assistant at the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Cleveland, and soon was promoted to Forensic Investigator. She does her job well and sees her father every other weekend, when she visits him in the St Augustine retirement home.

From a distance, Elvira can easily appear quite cold and cynical. She is very detail-oriented when it comes to her work, and has never been the best when it comes to socializing. Still, she is not without feeling or emotion, and takes great pride in what she does. Although she doesn’t like to let it show, she is also emotionally affected by every case she takes on. Her eyes seem sharp at times, as if they see through you, but that’s part of her somewhat biting charm. She’s intelligent and picks up on information and numbers easily, sometimes forgetting that not all her coworkers are as quick in their cerebral functions as she is.

During the little time she spends not working, Elvira likes to read, go running and take scenic rides on her motorcycle.
