Star is an ex Team Galactic leader who managed to escape arrest after the team was disbanded. She's come to the Unova region in order to continue avoiding arrest and has decided to just play the role of a trainer for now. Though, now that she's had to hide from Team Plasma patrols wandering around to take Pokemon she's come to realize she may have fleed to the wrong place. Eventually, she wants to recreate Team Galactic in her own image. She certainly isn't a fan of Team Plasma or their "Pokemon Liberation" mission. Being a master of manipulation herself, she knows how to sniff it out and she suspects there might be more going on there.

Star is very much a prankster and loves to taunt others, she also has a very determined personality and has no problem using any method she has to, if it means getting what she wants. Star often times has used seduction in order to get out of a bad situation, or to just get a discount or whatever it is she wants. Unfortunately her lack of honestly means she has barely any friends aside from her Pokemon. She's fine with this though, as the way she sees it it's best not to rely on other people much.

Nyu is Stars first Pokemon and is one she has never gone without. Nyu has been around since Star was a toddler, and is the reason she wanted to become a trainer in the first place. When Star was still a young novice trainer, she fell into quicksand which dropped her into a cave she had no escape from. Nyu had to dig a hole and help her climb out. Nyu refuses to evolve beyond his second stage now, because his smaller size was what allowed him to save her once. Nyu is a Pokemon who very much fits with his element and has a very hot headed personality. He gets angered easily and is extremely competitive.

Mona is the first Pokemon Star caught. Mona is a very loving and cuddly Pokemon and easily gets along with most people. She loves to socialize and Star will often have her walking around with her, as she doesn't like being stuck in her Pokeball unless she's sleeping. She is very sensitive to emotion, and responds to her surroundings. She's usually a very happy Pokemon, but if she senses somebody feeling hurt she will start crying in empathy and attempt to comfort the person.

Imp is the Pokemon who fits with Stars personality the most. This is because she is a prankster and loves to tease others. Her playful nature is the reason Star gave her the name "Imp". Star often uses Gardevoirs power to help her in her schemes, though she can't control minds she can put voices in peoples heads and draw out things that one would usually be too afraid to do. Because of their similar nature and Gardevoirs intelligence, she acts as more of a best friend to Star than she is a pet. She's even able to speak to her through her mind.

Star caught Storm while she was a Team Galactic member. She found it in on a route while on a mission, and it stood in her path with it's fur spiked up as if challenging her. She had to battle it into submission, and after losing he allowed her to catch it. Storm is a very quiet and cool Pokemon that loves to fight. He looks as though he's smiling when sent out to battle, and will get mad and ignore Star if she leaves him out. He will also pout, when he loses or if he gets switched out. He is extremely stubborn and can be difficult to work with because of his hard headed personality.

Tarkus is another Pokemon she caught while on a mission, she found him in a cave. At the time, Tarkus was reckless and rushed her and ended up ramming himself into the cave wall and fainted. Tarkus in terms of strength is extremely powerful, but doesn't have a lot of speed to use that power. On top of that he's very frail and easy to faint, because of this he was the toughest Pokemon for Star to train. But now that he's been trained to make up for this weakness, he is one of the most valuable members of Stars team. He does tend to fight with her other Pokemon though, because he thinks of himself as the leader and the confidence he found has gone to his head.

Lucy is Stars most recent Pokemon, the only one she's caught in Unova. Despite it's intimidating appearance, Lucy is a very shy and timid Pokemon. She generally only wants to come out of her ball to eat, get affection from Star, train, or battle. She doesn't like anybody other than Star and will avoid contact with them.
