Yan was born in Japan on a farm and grew up hard working for the majority of his life. Everything was well until he moved to the city when he was 13 and everything seemed to go down hill for him. His parents became cold and distant as they got more money and used it for their own benefit. He became distant from the majority from his family, even becoming distant from his siblings that he loved. Before he could move out he was outed by the second youngest about his sexuality and how he liked to dress. It left a nasty impression and divot in the family's bond with him. So, when he was 17 he moved out and bought his own apartment and got a good job to be able sustain himself.
