    Tana Vestri cuts a lithe, graceful figure while glamoured, a being of long limbs and dark skin, toned and taut with light muscle. They move lightly, with a mercurial grace and languid movements, with dark eyes that seem to flash between intense scrutiny and playful mirth. They smile easily, laugh often, and scowl near as much, running through a range of the emotional spectrum in a way that is rarely hard to read.

    Often dressed simply in clothes suited for work and travel, they stand out not by attire but by bearing and by accessories: charms, trinkets, and necklaces often adorn their person, worked in silver and stone, and bearing the marks of dead languages.

    Tana is a mage and shaman in equal measure, having traveled the width and breadth of the world as their people have likewise done the same. Among the first of the svartalfar born in the Americas in the wake of an ill-fated Viking crew, the dark elf takes after the origin of their people: the giant Ymir, straddling the lines between male and female, death and creation.

    Profession: Spellworker and confidant. More importantly, problem-solver: with the views of the fey relative to the justice of men, Tana is sometimes sent by higher powers to track down criminals of a more Other nature.

    Personality: Inquisitive, ever-curious, at times downright playful, the fae buys into the storybook capriciousness attributed their kind. In truth, this is in part just the surface of a deep-running river: equal parts optimistic and bleak, hopeful and cynical, the mask sometimes slips to hint at an old soul coated in the dust of hard years.
