Charlotte is a server at a local diner and lives in a shitty apartment with her even shittier boyfriend. They make enough to get by, but it's getting tighter, especially as her boyfriend starts demanding she cover more and more of their necessities while he fucks off and goes clubbing with friends. She's getting to the point it's between getting out and struggling to stay afloat, or giving up her passion for art.
