    Ruth stood about 5’11, tall but not super tall. They definitely looked taller than they were, due to the weirdly long arms and legs. All gangles and sharp edges.

    Their hair was styled into a curly version of that 90s heart throb style, always messy whether on purpose or not, and always a sign of anxiety when they ran a long fingered hand through it.

    A goofy and mischievous smile fit perfectly underneath a strong and pronounced nose, the small cat like features of their face allowing most to assume that Ruth was in their teens and not a young twenty something student.

    Typically, they dressed in loose overalls, faded and ridden with holes, the legs cuffed over a beat up pair of dark emerald Docs. Or a once white pair of Converses, equally holey.

    If not a loose t-shirt with the cryptid of the week on it, or something related to Dana Scully, Ruth was usually soon in a baggy turtleneck underneath a loose Hawaiian or floral print button down. And always, always one strap of her overalls undone.
