Silas Grimm

Silas Grimm. The epiphany of a grim reaper. Yet born unlike other's. Most grim reapers were created from a hosts death prior and being reborn as literal death. In his case however, he was given the reaper status, due to his father being a Grim. Normally grim reapers did not consort, nor did they ever fall in love. Yet where fate entwines, thing's find a way. He was born to his mother, a beautiful woman but not human either. She was an angel. This however was seen as a taboo among the grim society. In this manner, they sought to destroy the very creation. In doing so, they killed the mother. While fights between other entities was not uncommon. It was considered a most....ill fate. Rules were in place for a reason.

This led to the eventual capture of his father and imprisonment of Silas himself. For over a thousand years, he was imprisoned, before finally being released about a few years after his father was. The fates seemed to shine, but in that time. Silas had grown. No longer a child behind bars. He had been washed into the reaper ways. Unknown to him his angelic power was suppressed. This led to him having a special ability, something that only Reapers of the highest level were capable of attaining. The "Touch of Empathy". This allowed Silas to actually understand the emotions of those he came into contact with. As well share his own emotions with another. This touch worked in two different ways and often helped him to decide whether a soul was worth a reaping. As most reapers he was forced to form his own scythe. A scythe that reflected everything within him.

All scythes are gauged by power and status of the soul it was created from. In his case, his scythe was considered one of the rarest. Years following his emergence into the reaper world. He had begun to understand how his power worked, yet still did not understand the touch. Most times he is seen wearing black gloves and his eyes are constantly shifting hues. Depending on his mood. He hate touching another with bare flesh. As he could kill on a touch and accidently glimpse into a persons soul. Getting detailed information like this was a painful process. This led to him highly alienating himself from other reapers. As even touching them was unwanted. Yet over time he had come to understand a sort of corruption among the heavens and the in between. A corruption that to this day he still searches for the answer as to why.
