The Beginning

The eery atmosphere of the planet. Awash with the toxic methane gas. No real oxygen present upon this world and yet in the universe's harshest system of planets life yet finds its own place to live. This harsh planet with no name was home to a rare and alien race of giant snake beings. The race was known as Shizeli, a not so present race with access to any type of technology but over time evolution has evolved the Shizeli into a large snake race with advanced snake physiology and masterful use of poison. The acidic properties of their own blood is a side effect from the constant and over time exposure to the methane gas permeating the planet and the surface.

One among the Shizeli race was known as one of the most ancient and in many ways the queen of the race itself. The largest and strongest of them and the most evolutionary advanced over the rest. With a gaze that can kill instantly if direct contact is made and paralyze those who see the gaze through some other means of reflection. Immune to her own effects as well as poison and several various types of elements are null against her. The story begins within the darkened tropical forest. The breeding grounds of the race and the beginning of the end.

The Interruption

The small rays of the lunar light permeates through the slightly thin atmosphere of the planet. Only at certain times does it penetrate. The denizens of this world are used to complete darkness and have adapted to survive in an environment where even the plant life is considered a predator. Silence as the sounds of various insects of varying size make the sounds of the hunt. A slight sound of a twig being smashed silences the once alive forest. The thick gas cloud covering the entire forest. A soft flick of a large forked like tongue senses the air and the scent trail of possible prey. The large head seemed more narrow than a simple snake's. Two large fangs the size of a Scottish claymore sat just within the inner folds of the mouth. Several rows of sharp yet backward pointed teeth the size of a normal claymore. Venom glands above the hollow fangs. Despite being hollow they were stronger than any steel ever known. Sharper than any blade.

The massive head easily around the size of a large diesel truck. The body longer than twenty five football fields. Wider than twenty Olympic size pools. The apex predator of the planet. Moving with complete silence and despite the size having a surprising amount of agility. Able to easily achieve mach speeds at a full run. Blackened scales upon the body giving her perfect camouflage against the somewhat bright green foliage around her. Given her physiology and the advanced aspects of her race she is bred for strength and speed. Able to see in several different spectrum's of light. Heat, Cold, Black, White. Picking up on the scent trail of her prey she moves through the bush before slithering up a large tree adorned with massive spikes. Her scales on the underside of her long body able to easily glide along the sharpest of surfaces.

Moving through the tree's she stalks her prey carefully and silently. Ahead of her a large deer like creature bigger than the largest elephant on earth. Closer and closer until the sounds of thrusters permeated above her. Though her hearing was very good she could not comprehend the sound. Turning her gaze upward she saw the intense heat signature of the craft moving but twenty yards from her. Moving through the tree's she slowly makes her way towards it. Picking up on odd sounds as she looks down at the somewhat very small creatures moving about. She had not ever seen such things before. Tasting the air, she had their scent easily now. Though she could not identify the smell she could see the heat signatures. Switching her eyelids she looks into other spectrum's making out cold signatures from the odd craft and seeing things in different colors before switching back to her infrared.

Silently watching and gauging what she should do next they bring out some large contraption and when it is turned on she has to shake her head a bit at the loud sounds. Watching as the air was clearing a bit more. Deciding against waiting she moved down from the tree's and around to the back of them. Moving through the marshy water she slowly slithers up behind them. In a flash she strikes crushing one instantly as her fangs pierced through the suit and the body easily. Dropping that one she turns and strikes the other almost instantly in the same fashion. The large machine near her starts to move and she turns striking it and sinking her large fangs nearly through the entire hull. As it lifts she coils her massive body around it and constricts it forcefully. The craft unable to handle the sheer weight of her body is forced to the ground as the creatures within abandon it and take off into the forest. She watches them go and releases the contraption and crushes the other one.

Screams permeate from the forest as they came into contact with a large razor tree. Swallowing the two up without a second thought she tastes the air a bit more and moves about her business. The taste of the creatures was revolting. She heads back to the lair of her race and relays the information to the others. Speaking in odd sounds and alien dialect. The news was disturbing indeed but they pass it off as mere chance.

The End Days

Several weeks passed before the silence was once again interrupted by the sounds of other crafts entering into the atmosphere and landing in the same general area as the last one. The craft and machine was already consumed under a layer of toxic water from the toxic rain that fell days prior. The first craft and team was consumed by the forest and the others nearly taken out by the Shizeli. This constant battle continued for weeks on end. Shizeli were more evolved than the weapons the creatures used against them. The beams not strong enough to pierce the thick hide of the Shizeli. Eventual retreat gave them what they thought was victory and their planet taken back from the mysterious invaders.

Several hours later large bursts of high powered energy plummeted from the sky. Alighting the forest in an intense blaze due to the methane gas as it was highly volatile. Everything was nearly instantly incinerated. Though her race resisted fire and all manners of heat and cold. The bombs in which were dropping were more than enough to kill off her race. A near death strike near her left her broken and battered upon the blackened ground. Her eyes glazing over and her tongue slowly moving from between her massive jaws. Was this going to be her end? Would she perish here upon the precipice of their evolutionary breakthrough? It was then a voice echoed around her. Almost a comforting sensation she felt. Though death was so close upon her." My children....how dare they do this to them. "The anger in the voice she understood it. Explosions erupted outside the planet's atmosphere. Though despite the creatures being obliterated her planet was close to dying.

Cracking in many places and becoming fizzured. Large lava jets forcing their way through the solid ground. Melting all within their path the voice again resounded around her." You did not deserve this...Uleria. Come with me, be my Avatar and together we will bring the death to this race that has destroyed my children. Forsake your life to become my instrument." In the end she had no other option. Submitting herself to the will of Yig. In doing so she became a powerful avatar of his. Doing that which he willed without question. Forsaking her own life to live forever. Her true destiny had once now began anew.
